This film was hilarious. The Derek Jeter scene was classic haha.

Why is this PG-13? It's McKay, I mean, this isn't a studio decision is it?

Not going to lie, the rating is slightly disheartening.

What are you talking about? He's made 4 movies and only Step Brothers was rated R.

Maybe I've seen Step Brothers way too many times? Oh wait, there's no such thing as that.

Hmm, I guess you're right. I just assumed it would be R. Still looks fantastic though.

someone should add a poll since its out today.

Im gonna see it tomorrow morning hopefully

It was great. And you probably think the films are rated R because you probably watch the unrated versions of the films, which feature more R-rated material.

Yeah a poll should be added.

This movie was freakin hilarious.
Better than Step Brothers and Talladega Nights
Awesomeness. Freakin Gator.

If I had to rank it Adam McKay's films now I would rank it like this:

1. Anchorman
2. The Other Guys
3 Tallegdega Nights/Step Brothers (Can't decide now. I have to rewatch these films though I would give a slight edge to Step Brothers just for the wedding scene.)

I absolutely agree with that list
possibly give step brothers the edge on my part cause alot of great memories when I've watched that movie hah

Debating wheter or not to see this tonight with a friend. I loved Anchorman (one of my favorite comedies ever), loved Stepbrothers (to a lesser extent), and thought Talladega Nights was ok. What would I think of this one?

See it

It wasn't gut busting funny like Talledega Nights was but this was an awesome movie.

Michael Keaton was killing me with his "non" TLC references.

The mini rant [BLACKOUT]after the explosion about the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars [/BLACKOUT] was hilarious too.

The explaination flashback for Gamble's dark past had me crying. Partly because of the 80s reference.

Also the go-between scene with Eva Mendes' grandmother. :hehe:

:hehe: both were hilarious

"I don't want to repeat anymore of this. It involved a mechanical hand, an electric razor and a golf club."

But

the Derek Jeter cameo and him getting shot takes the cake. Derek Jeter calling someone a d**k made my day. I lost it when a cop said he should've shot A-Rod.

Me too. For several minutes I was wondering "What Bush?"

I kept thinking a truck was gonna come underneath them and then bam...tears were rolling down my face I was laughing to hard

Saw it. The best comedy I've seen in a long time. Better than Step Brothers to me.

Two things I can't stop laughing at:

SLJ and the Rock jumping off the building with "My Hero" going in the background. Oh, God. My thoughts exactly were, "Wait, what bush? They're falling...

Then

When Derek Jeter got shot. Oh, God.

Will Ferrell's Lion/Tuna explanation had me in tears literally.

Michael Keaton was awesome in this!

"I have two jobs. One I work here and the second is at Bed Bath and Beyond to support my son going to NYU to explore his bisexuality to become a DJ."

Between this and Toy Story 3, Michael Keaton had a great summer. Its great to see him in good summer films again. I really liked his character and his accidental nods to TLC.

i was hoping for a Batman comment

Nah, I can't imagine Keaton doing that. Although yeah, I was kinda hoping for something. But now I don't think Keaton wants much to do with him.

His TLC quotes were ****ing awesome.

"Creep.... creep..."

"My son is bisexual."

"Tremendous!"

"There's a rapist on King Street -- wait - that's my other job, ignore it. Well, other than the people here who live on King Street. Don't ignore it."

Anyone else love when he dropped his gun on his desk? :funny:

That was hilarious. I saw the movie in NYC, and the audience was dying laughing when the one cop yelled [BLACKOUT]"You shoulda shot A-Rod!"[/BLACKOUT] :funny:

The movie was really funny.

Fantastic movie.

I loved the lion/tuna argument. Absolutely hilarious.
