I can see certain characters being revived. But Jamie Madrox of the Ultimate universe certainly doesn't get to have the same get out of death card like the 616 counterpart. The 616 universe has the luxury of probably continuing for decades. The ultimate universe could get retirement in a few years.

Isn't there supposed to be some Ultimate book Loeb is doing where Thor is like, God of Hel or something and all the dead heroes are there or something? I gotta tell you, I stopped paying attention to the Ultimate Universe when Loeb made sure to let us know once and for all that YES WANDA AND PIETRO ARE F**KING!

Outside of Ultimatum, I safely avoided everything Jeph Loeb wrote for the Ultimate line. I was hopeful that Loeb was off Ultimate stuff after that since they gave Ultimates/Avengers back to Millar and the newest mini was written by Ellis. I hope Im right. Bendis, Millar, and Ellis are really the only good writers for Ultimate Marvel.

I had some thoughts/questions about Ultimatum. I Wasn't going to bring up the story again but since someone else did, I might as well.

I suppose there could be some kind of retcon involving Rick Jones. What was it that happened at the end of Ultimate Origins with him? The Watchers choose him to be some sort of "Herald" or something, and he burst into energy in his backyard. And it was never mentioned in Ultimatum. Maybe it's suppose to be for some later storyline, but I just assumed Loeb didn't give a Sh** to collaborate with Bendis.

Yeah, too bad, because Ultimate Origins was a pretty good setup.

Well in an interview with CBR alittle while back Loeb claimed that there was a reset button in place to undo all the damage but Marvel made him write it out to make the deaths more "real". ******** I know but I guess that reset button was the Watchers and their empowered Rick Jones.
