Infinity War Will Thanos be in Avengers 4?

They confirmed it's not going to be infinity war part 1 and 2 but infinity war and then avengers 4 as most climatic film. Does it mean there is a chance for Thanos not to appear in Avengers 4? Do we have any confirmation if he will remain the villain in the next film?

Thanos has been built up as THE big bad in these movies for six years now. They're not going to use him as the main villain for only one movie. He'll be back next year.

Of course he will. The real question is will he have all the stones by Avengers 4. Which, going by an interview with Josh Brolin, no. No he will not. He was asked something like, "Does Thanos end up getting all 6 stones?"
He answered “I haven’t done the second movie so I don’t know, I literally don’t know what the second script is."
