Under any possible circumstance...FOTW, Magic, normal etc.

Do you think we will see it before the series reaches its conclusion?

it would be good to see even if it's just some mind control story line or something. i wouldn't want to see them kiss because of feelings they have or anything like that. that should be left in the future but mind control would be good and then they could feel all awkward afterwards

nope. this is smallville no metropolis. Lana is his love.

I agree that this is Smallville and NOT Metropolis but I doubt also we wil ANY chance of romantic Clana during the remaing series run.

Like ED, said, not even in a dream sequence, once that happens its goodbye SV.

If they ever kiss it would be in the series finale and clark will have then become SUPERMAN. I hope Lois & Superman get to share a kiss on the rooftop of The Daily Planet in the series finale. [that would be sweet ]

Things have changed.........

Erica Durance interview in the #206 issue of TV Zone magazine said:
Lois Unchained
Erica Durance reveals why girl reporter Lois Lane is enjoying new freedoms this year…
By Jenny Eden

...until now Clark Kent has never been allowed to kiss her. With Superman Returns in the pipeline, TV bosses decreed that Smallville couldn’t do anything that might upset the movie franchise. So it’s only now the film is out that Clark and Lois are allowed to let their romance blossom on the small screen. “They really were trying to be careful what they did with Lois,” Durance comments, “because they weren’t sure how they were going to take Lois and Clark and their relationship in the early stages of the movie. So for a long time Lois could never kiss Clark, they couldn’t have a relationship, there were some specific things that could not happen, even in dream sequences.” “...I’m excited to see what my Lois is allowed to do now the movie has come out.”

While the movie’s release means that Durance can look forward to a more interesting times for Lois during Season Six, she comments she has nothing but admiration for Kate Bosworth for taking on the role on the big screen, as the actress provoked a furious reaction from fans when she first joined the series as Clark’s future love. So she knows how hard it can be stepping into Lois’s stilettos. “I had a lot of fans that were very, very upset at me personally for coming along to steal Clark from Lana. People said I was too old for Clark or I had a few laughter lines. I don’t pay attention to any of it unless I’m having a bad day. But I’ve learned you have to get a tough skin.”

I imagine that at least in the series finale maybe Clark finally begins to have feelings for Lois but Lois doesn't have any feelings yet for Clark since Clark's journey ends and Superman story begins.

sweet. bring iton then, the closer we get to Superman, the happier i become

uhhh pat I think that is more than the interviewer's words than ED's and sound like speculation than anything else.

The part I bolded, yes, but the concept is still there. The writers weren't allowed to even show Lois in a reporter capacity, never less have Clark being attracted to her, or godforbid, actually kiss her. But the film is out now and a lot of the restrictions have apparently been lifted.

Will they actually show them kiss? Who knows, but at least we know if they don't, it won't be because they were told they couldn't. It will be because the writers felt it didn't fit the plot, or it was wrong for the story. Knowing SV however, they'll pull all the stops out whenever they can. It makes more sense to see the slow build and understand WHY Clark Kent falls in love with Lois Lane, so the seeds have to be planted soon.

I was never able to understand what Clark saw in Lana beyond the surface, an attribute that seemed to be driven home in episodes like Blank. But Clark has even less in common with Lois right now, so it will be interesting to see how his feelings shift, and the elements that contribute to that change. He's also got to balance his own personal feelings with all the new threats that will be showing up, which will likely be part of the reason for his eventual need for a disguise. The best part of the story though will be how he weighs those priorities since he ends up putting his own desires second to that of the world's; his own ID as Clark *becomes* the disguise. Gotta luv Superman, eh? :D

lois and clark may not have alot in common right nw, but there is no mistaking they have chemistry. and yes, lana always did seem like just a "pretty face" to me, when she should have been so much more.

Indeed [every episode you see their relationship building into an unbreakable everlasting relationship.]

First their relationship was

Was 1. Strangers

Then 2. Overprotective Brother & rashinal Sister

Then 3. hate/love

Then 4. Secret Friends

Now 5. Good Friends

You know.. I really effing hate that argument that Lana is just a pretty face.

But I guess I tend to give Clark more credit than that.

To this day, I still don't see it either. When wasn't with her he was a moopy Farmboy, then when he was with her he was still a moopy Farmboy.

At least with Lois while at times While she drove him crazy, He was smiling & happy . And he saw something beneath the surface of The Army Brat who couldn't shut up for 5 seconds .

He saw that she was a Strong girl who liked to do things on her own, and she enjoyed busting his chops .

Not to mention she had a very vulnerable side under that tough Kick ass attitude. That she keeps hidden quite well .

And she the only woman that truely understands him the best [without knowing his secret] .

Well at least you left out the racist commentary this time.

Damn.. good thing they didn't cast Lois with someone of mixed race. Your head might have exploded.

I was out of line the other day [I was having a bad day] I'm sorry .

So, I've been thinking about the whole Clois thing and how I feel about it.
Contrary to what some people might think, being a Clana fan doesn't mean you have to hate Lois.

There are a lot of things I like about Lois, the kinds of things that I think will eventually draw Clark to her. One of the main things is her sincere concern for her friends, and that includes Clark, and Lana. She has no hidden agenda to make her want to break up Clark and Lana, as she proved in Spirit, and in Hypnotic. I think her and Lana have a healthy respect for each other, and have since their first meeting. I just watched the outtake from Hypnotic, where Lois was defending Lana to Clark and Simone - why the hell didn't they leave that in? It really made me respect her even more as a person that she truly is a friend to Lana, and to Clark.

So that's why I like Lois. She supported Clark and Lana when they were together because it was the right thing to do for her friends. Lois understood how much they loved each other and wasn't threatened by that. Now that Clark and Lana aren't together, it's that honorable quality, that I think will ultimately attract Clark to Lois, along with her lifestyle and adaptable personality that will fit in so well with his future as Superman.

My only gripe is that I'm still hoping they resolve Clark and Lana's friendship before they move him on. I'd like to see Lana eventually in that position that Lois is in.. that of supporting Clark with what's best for him and his future, that future including Lois.

I think I'm a fan of everyone on this show. I think I can cheer for everyone and understand everyone's plight, I just cheer for Clark louder because I know that he's the one that has the hugest load and he's the one that I most want to see happy.

I supported Lex in the early days, but as I said in another thread recently, he is now responsible for being who he is and I have no sympathy left for him anymore.

I agree with this. Whilst last season we saw a very supportive Chloe, who said she was a friend of Lana and Clark's, there were just too many times that she appeared to have her own agenda.

My only gripe is that I'm still hoping they resolve Clark and Lana's friendship before they move him on. I'd like to see Lana eventually in that position that Lois is in.. that of supporting Clark with what's best for him and his future, that future including Lois.

I think they will. I mean, you can kind of see where they are going with Lexana. Lana and Lex have been together since Fade. Since then and from what I can tell of the Season 6 spoilers, it appears that Lex is going to be constantly in danger and because Lana is being let in on so much of what Lex is up to she will also be in danger.

This gives Clark's argument of "keeping secrets" to protect her alot more weight.

Also getting closer to Lex will allow Lana to see what kind of man he really is and that he hasnt been as honest with her as she may believe.

How they bring Lana and Clark back together as close friends is the part that I'm looking forward to the most.

Lois is like that in every incarnation of SUPERMAN [She never shows sgins of Jealousy for The Relationship Clark & Lana have ] Lois has been supportive before her & Clark were married and even after they were married .
