Will X-Men 4 be called X-Men Resurrection

oh please...to say that Jean's return was more slight than Xavier is just...wrong. First, 80% of the people dont even know he's alive, simply because most people didnt watch that scene, since it was after credits. Second, hell, everyone knew Jean was coming back, there's nothing less subtle than that fire-bird in the water...

At the end of X2 we merely get a hint that Jean comes back. We don't actually see or hear her voice. Bryan Singer even admitted that he was not planning on making the third X-Men film about Jean Grey. She was supposed to come back in X-Men 4. I even remember hearing people in the threater debating whether Jean would come back or not at the end of X2!!! There is no debating whether professor X is alive or dead at the end of X3.

And the scene of his death imho WAS the best scene of the trilogy. If you felt it wasnt any good, its probably because you knew he would come back already. I didnt, so i got all the drama it was supposed to have...

I will admit I knew Xavier would come back at the end. However, I know people who didn't know about his resurrection who ended up thinking his death was pointless after seeing the scene after the credits.

well i didnt want to start the "i know people who" route... but everybody i've seen the movie with thought, "okay, she's back". No one thought it was a hint at all, it was evidence. Some people say "but i didnt see it and my friends didnt see it!!!!!". Well, put some glasses, because it was intended to be seen. And in my opinion, it wasnt subtle at all. It was there in our faces.
As for professor, only fans knew about the scene after credits, so, i take as 80% of the audience just didnt bother to know or to wait until the after credits scene. I bet it will be a bigger surprise, for most, if Professor comes back than when Jean came back. Because even non fans knew she was alive in the end of X2.

Well, you know, at least his death wasnt a huge plothole like Jean's
lets not start all the "Storm and Iceman could help, She could be inside the jet while stopping the water, but she wanted to sacrifice herself and blah blah blah"...i still think her death was way more pointless than his, and still both deaths were great imo.

unless Singer enjoys making third parts like in SR and, in about 5 or 6 years, he comes up with another X3 and we can finally get Famke again on Jean oh wait, Famke will be too old...yeah, Jean's gone...

i think it costs too much...and im really against all this "artificial skin" for actors, i dont know, i feel like the Matrix is starting to control us Cinema will start to get weird if we get these effects...

But what happened to her, the way it was set up in X3 WAS a total Joke. At least this time she'd be able to get some dignity and not be treated like some out of control monster that needs to be destroyed. So much for the human factor

Your assumption is wrong. I had no idea about the movie's plot except that there would have the Phoenix in it and that according to the director "lots of characters would die". I did not know Charles would come back and the only reason why I sat through the credits was because I usually do anyways to enjoy the music.

X4 Revelations sounds more appropriate.

Revelations sounds better and you can bring in Sinister and Apoc as they try to end the world. Four Hoursemen etc...

2) The Dark Phoenix in X2 was an entity that cloned Jean's body and the real Jean is still lying at the bottom of the lake (similar to the comics)

3) It's revealed that Jean secretly had a child - Rachel - and that she carries the Phoenix mutation...

Np to unrealistitc, the movies tend to keep it real with our world, so i don't think that would work.
