Will you get rid of your PS2/3/4?

Did anyone buy the ps1 classic that was recently released? I saw the box ofit in a videogame store and I was like interesting... but itdoesnt seem worth it unless I'm a huge ps collector.

From what I understand, it's a bit of a mess. They used buggy versions of the games, that have frame rate issues. I've also seen people complain about the line up of games in it, but the games are fine to me. Maybe not what I would have chosen, but not bad for the price, given FFVII alone is $15 on PSN. Though I still have the original PS1 disk, just nothing to play it on, lol.

Anyway, from reviews, I wouldn't buy it unless it's discounted. I've thought about getting one once it hits $20 (with free shipping), which isn't far off given many sites have it down to $30.

well, at least now I know I can trade in my PS4 towards the PS5, but still be able to keep my PS4 games.

hopefully Sony will be able to bring full BC with PS1-PS3 games as well. that would be sublime.

I no longer own any of those old consoles or games, but there are quite a few classic PS1-3 games that I'd like to play again or never completed or never had the chance to play. It would be nice if PS5 could finally be the one PS console to play all PS games!
One PlayStation to rule them all! Unless Sony figures out how to transfer my PS3 and PS4 saves to the PS5, they're not going anywhere. I still have my PS2 memory cards, even though my sister deleted all my saves from back in the day because I wouldn't play volleyball with her. Found out by popping The Two Towers in to replay. When she told me years later I was livid. If she'd been my brother instead we would've probably fought.

I'll NEVER EVER get rid of my PlayStations. Not in a million years.

I’m at a point in my life where I’m just done with video games. I can’t find the joy in them anymore. I’ve already got rid of my PS2, in the process of getting rid of my PS3 and I’m currently using my PS4 as just a blu ray player. The next time I will buy a console will probably be for my kid...if I ever have one.

If anything I intend to get a Playstation One at some point, if the PS5 doesn't emulate them. If it does emulate then there is no need to get it. The rumors are it will so I am holding off on that. I actually have a handful of PS1 games still in a box somewhere just waiting for a console.

I still own 3 of the four PS consoles
PS2 Fat
PS3 Slim (never cared for the super slim aka the one with the sliding cover for the disc)
PS4 Pro

I have no desire to get rid of em the PS3 is my blu ray player/Netflix player in my living room. My Pro is hooked to my 50" 4K set in my room.

I might eventually get rid of my PS3 but I still have a PS2, had two PS3's but sold one a while back and then I had a PS4 and got the Spider-Man PS4 pro so I traded in the old PS4.

I just put mine in the stock room. Its sad throwing them in the trash.

try the best buy trade-in program, or sometimes gamestop will offer a deal or percentage off towards a new console. i traded in my PS4 towards the Pro

i have a PS4 Pro and I have a PS3. i should probably sell or give away the PS3. i only kept it for NCAA Football 13 (which they dont make anymore) and the animated Guitar Hero games. i wish i could play those on the pro, or hopefully, the PS5

I still have my PSOne and PS2, though the latter is broken.

Never ever. I've had my PS2 slim since 2006, and it works like a charm. Same goes for my PS3 which I've had since 2009. They're mine you can't have them.
