Toss up between Civil War and the avengers. I'll go Civil War because it expertly combines what I love about Avengers with what I love about Winter Soldier.

If I had to go strictly superhero... Dark Knight.

I really liked Civil War but I think it would have been better if it had just been Tony, Steve and Bucky (and maybe T'Challa but not as much).

I mean, I get all the reasons the other characters are there but a tighter story that puts all its energy on the relationships between those three characters seems like a better movie.

Yeah, agreed. It's something special that never loses its magic, no matter how many times I see it.

Have to say though that Civil War is very close though, Marvel's best film ( IMO it's ten times the film that Avengers is, don't get me wrong Avengers is good fun, but settles for merely introducing characters rather than developing them).

So yeah, Dark Knight, it's the best.

Nothing has even come remotely close to the Dark Knight to me anyway.
Marvel wishes that they had a Dark Knight. Well maybe Marvel does and that they sort of do with the Avengers meaning that the studios are trying to replicate that movie that brings together their shared universe just like studios are try to make a Dark knight with their property.
Both Movies were very well received both financially and critically.
Both are a very big plus for the comic book movie world and comic fans in general.
