Wireless connection problems, please help!

Hey folks-
I just got a new computer and tried to hook up my wireless adapter I had on my previous desktop. I installed the driver and did everything. However, it is telling me that my computer has limited to no connectivity. I try to use the repair function but it tells me that it cannot renew the IP address. Any ideas?

Sevice pack 2 is a pain in the ass i think. I used to have the same problem
