The Amazing Spider-Man 2 With Great Sequel Comes Great Lounging - Part 1

AC3 should have been on next gen consoles, current gen just couldn't handle it. It needed to be better polished, and aspects of it (like side quests and controls) needed to be worked on more. It could have also used some fat trimming as well for the main story and side quests to make it more focused.

Its a conspiracy!!

The world is against MoS!:o

I knew Spiderdevil would have something to say about my post....

anywho....

I'm glad people are enjoying the film, but I dare not visit the MOS part of the forums. Still don't know how safe that part is, lol, but I'll be watching it tomorrow

Would watch it tonight, but I need to watch This Is The End.

I'm seeing MOS tomorrow too. I also need to see This is The End. Probably next week or something.

Has anyone noticed that the boards are automatically re-sizing larger pictures now?

MOS was the s***. Can't wait to see it again tomorrow. Yeah those boards are pretty spoilery right now.

I kinda did. When I uploaded one of Marc Webb's pics. Couldn't tell if Marc just posted a small pic size though. (I'm on a phone.)

Man of Steel was my most anticipated movie this summer, and... I did NOT like it. So, yeah...:csad:

As much as I'm getting sick of all the Man of Steel talks lately, I just have to say that judging from what I've heard about this movie, a big chunk of hypocrisy in these Spidey boards regarding ASM will be revealed soon.

And yes, that goes on "both sides".

this intrigues me, what do you mean?

As I've said, I haven't seen the movie yet myself so this is only based on what I've heard and read from those who've seen it. I hope I'll be proven wrong.

Potential spoilers ahead

[BLACKOUT]I mean that hypocrits will make excuses for Man of Steel while having a history of completely bashing the exact same kind of "flaws" in ASM. And people who's defended those "flaws" of ASM will bash Man of Steel. Basically, another typical fanboy war where people are just making excuses to defend their favourite comic book hero or company. Just that now the hypocrisy will be crystal clear.

Why I am saying this is because, from the sound of things, Man of Steel and ASM share some major things that ASM has been bashed to hell for.[/BLACKOUT]

ah k, i won't read your post until after i have seen man of steel, which is weeks away for me unfortunately.

Got a sitter for my little girl and taking out the Mrs. tonight for some MoS action. :woot:

Got to see it yesterday and I loved it (MOS) and walked out with a smile on my face and the back into another theater for my second viewing for it and then next week im goin to see it again

Saw it last night. It's great. I urge everyone to stop listenin' to critics and whatnot and go see this, you won't regret it.

^ Agreed.

I think the very main problem is that some people were expecting campy bright Superman when this clearly (especially with Nolan and Goyer on board) wasn't gonna be the case. Look at the trailers, look at the lack of red trunks. People should've known coming in that it was gonna be far from a bright comic booky movie.
I personally love the tone they went for more than Nolan's batman series.

It gave us a great Superman who was likeable and could be related to, as well as sticking to the core concept pf the character in his morals and need to help others. The originals, while they did help bring about the superhero movie genre, were to me one of the biggest offenders of Superman being boring and unrelatable.

You need to watch Man of Steel so you can elaborate on
the flaws you speak of
that will be claimed as hypocrisy for both side of the fence when it comes to TAS-M.

Man of Steel was such a goddamn great film, and I didn't even have a problem with the "controversial" ending.

It's either Zod or humanity, and Superman picked the choice that he was meant to inspire. And also, it killed Kal-El when he had to make that decision, although it brings up the possibility that Zod COULD still come back. Can't a Kryptonian slowly come back to life even after death on Earth or no?

:up::up::up:

I don't understand the notion of there being inconsistencies to the character of Superman. Man of Steel showed a true Americana Superman that I am glad finally showed itself on the big screen.

"I grew up in Kansas." - PERFECT line

No to sure if I agree with this though, lol. Before Cavill, my favorite Superman was Dean Cain which I thought he brought in a lot of fun into the character. But damn, Cavill just own the role of Superman, imo.

Man listening to the MoS soundtrack and now i want to watch it again :supes:

Dat ending! GAVE ME CHILLS!
