The Amazing Spider-Man 2 With Great Sequel Comes Great Lounging - Part 3

Well, if I considered that, I'd also believe that games like Call of Duty deserves all the praise it gets :P

Seriously though, Third Strike and 4 I hate. It's what happens when slow and unbalanced meet. While we're at it, terrible stories with trashy music (at least Third Strike).

It isn't slow when you learn how to play it, really. And as far as balance goes, at least SSFIV is one of the most balanced fighters out there considered the number of unique fighters. That's why it's such a great tournament game. Sure there are still high and low tier (like every fighting game), but it's still more balanced than most games.

As Aziz said, you shouldn't even bother with story when it comes to fighting games. That's why reviewers almost never brings that up. Even devs who try hard to make a good story end up with a fun but still mediocre and silly one (Netherrealm).

As far as music goes, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

You might not enjoy the game, but your statement of Street Fighter "falling from grace" is simply not true. The game is highly regarded from both critics and top players for its balance and depth. If anything, I've heard many times from such people that SFIV is an improvement over its predecessor, and it's only going upwards from that.

I think it's saying a lot if a Street Fighter game's story suck :P

Good for you.

Nice to see you like it.

Not a fan and hate it to the MAX (no pun intended). I don't really care about what "critics" say about games (especially coming from people like IGN, Gamespot, Destructoid, gametrailers and other "professional review sites").

Also said masses that say it's an "improvement" are comparable to the Call of Duty masses. They flock to something because of a gimmick and that gimmick is named Capcom. Which, surprisingly, people keep falling for really unbalanced games and pretend it's balanced and full of depth.

"Good for you". Classic!

I'm sorry that your dislike for the game and the fact that the game is still highly regarded among serious gamers (there's the difference between it and CoD) don't match.

Also, just to add before I leave the computer for now:

What I mean is that I find it funny that you try to make it sound as if your dislike is universal. "No wonder it's fallen from grace", when it really hasn't. I have nothing against the fact that you don't like the game, but your comment is just very ignorant.

I really don't like the GTA games, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the game series is highly acclaimed, praised and still going strong.

Meh, happens all the time. Just like how I don't like series like MGS and Persona.

Thanks for your opinion.

Now that we started talking about games, I hate the over blown emphasis Call Of Duty gets in gaming. It's like Call Of Duty is now the epitome of gaming and everything else is marginal

I was watching the show "Tester" where the winner gets a job from game developing, and there was this part where you had to explain why you're cut out for the contest. then this *****ebag contestant started talking about that he's great at designing levels, saying "I know good places to put cover to"...

I can't believe that this is where gaming has come to

So true
I tried to map the fighting skills of everyone in this game story, not a good outcome

Super Street Fighter IV and the latest Devil May Cry are pretty good, and nicely ported to PC
I like a few franchises they offer, and they suck hard at Resident Evil, that's my favorite game franchise, and they sucked hard at it last year

I wonder what kind of PC's you guys game with.

Is it worth playing, Kane?

As a guy who loves puzzles, it's a terrific game.

Once I finish building my PC I might just have to stop and pick it up.

Dell Optiplex 745 (2006 model)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz
Windows 7 Ultimate
32-Bit Operating System
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Graphics 512MB

It's not much, but it's sufficient for gaming

MSGW
Intel(R) Core(TM)i5 3.10GHz
4GB RAM
64-Bit Operating System
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

It's not much, but it's sufficient for gaming

You don't need to repeat the last line I said
My PC specs are lesser than yours

The only game I play on my PC is Web of Shadows and it runs fine for me so I'm happy with my awful PC specs :o

I use a bunch of mods, yeah. I try something new every time I play. They're fun.

Admittedly though, I never played the newer DMC. Though, that's probably because I never found the series to be that impressive anyways. Except Street Fighter 4 (all of it's versions). Did not like a single one.

^ LOL what the hell. So...games to hopefully purchase in the upcoming months are...maybe Arkham Origins. I'm thinking of starting with the first game first and playing all of them...anybody recommend?

Then..GTAV, and also MGS The Phantom Pain.
