I love them, they're highly entertaining. I'm kind of worried that McQuarrie is directing M:I 5 though.

Mmm for me Jack Reacher was "ok", but most of its problems are script related. Direction-wise, the movie also had low points, mainly the scenes with the villain (and also some really good scenes, like the main car chase, the initial sequence, and the final battle). So, I'm worried about McQuarrie confirming that he's touching the script.

I don't know, in my book McQuarrie has more cons than pros. The only think I consider brilliant from him is The Usual Suspects.

Also, I'm pretty sure no one can surpass Brad Bird. His direction was perfect in M:I 4.

It's hard to tell. I know that M:I 2 is the worst. By far (it did have some cool sequences though).

I have trouble defining the top 3. Probably M:I 4 is number 1, and M:I 1 is just a little bit under it. M:I 3 tied with M:I 1 mostly.

I would put M:I 1 first, but I have a big trouble understanding the ending. I have seen it, I don't know, 10 times, and I still don't know what [BLACKOUT]the scene between Phelps and Ethan in London means. Does Ethan knows that Phelps is the mole and the flashbacks shows his true thoughts? Is he really confused and the flashbacks are Phelps memories about what happened? What about the Chicago bible, what does that means? lol [/BLACKOUT]

Like, I have accepted that Phelps is the bad guy, but I don't understand **** lol

Dude! Picard. Was gonna say the same thing. I don't remember much of 1 & 2. Maybe I never watched those. But the third I like a lot.
I hope that's a testament that I will enjoy TASM2. Considering that is Orci and Kurtzman along with DP Dan Mindel!

Didn't see MI4, so I can't comment on that. But I loved Skyfall a lot. Its one of the better Bond films IMO (I'd place it in my top 5). But I did like Casino Royale a whole lot more, which I think is my favorite Bond film of all time.

Skyfall I watched once with the pops. As we always watch most action/gun movies together. It definitely isn't the best out of the three, but if you enjoy menswear like I do, his suits were the best in Skyfall hahah

I'm watching Casino Royale right now. Pretty good so far. The action is amazing, especially the chase sequences in Madagascar and the airport.
