He was solid. He didn't steal the show like he normally does but he played the role well. Nice to see him in a semi-big movie again.

Into Darkness was excellent. The whole sequence of the Enterprise getting shot up and crashing down to Earth was superb, adrenaline pumping filmmaking. My favorite movie of the summer.

The Way Way Back was also excellent. Sam Rockwell rocks!

I think Star Trek Into Darkness was the best Summer Movie. Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel were both terrible IMO, and I don't think any other Summer movies come close to beating STID.
