If Wolverine is going back to the 1970s, why does he have metal claws if he isn't supposed to get them until the 1980s?

Why does he have them in the present when he lost them in The Wolverine?
Exactly the problem with time travel movies.

I don't care about the X-Men movies much anymore anyway.
Me neither lol. Just kinda whatevs. Sucker for visuals so there has to be a lot of that in DOFP.

I will watch Days of Future Past
Still haven't seen the Wolverine
Third that.

I also haven't seen the Wolverine. I kinda grew up an X-Men fan though. Back in the day I had a Magneto toy and watched the 90's series.

I grew up watching the 90s X-Men cartoon but always loved Spider-Man more.

I've always been a Spider-Man fan. It's kind of a tie between Spider-Man and Superman as my favorite hero.

Supes would be my #2 for sure.

I would give the slight edge to Spider-Man since I know more about his rouge gallery of villains and back story. This might shock some of you, but I've never read a comic book in my life.

Superman is easily my No.2
Preferably the comic version before Crisis on Infinite Earths, Earth 1 Superman

Oh wow. Interesting.

Part of my liking towards Spider-Man is for the same reason. Way more familiar with the villains, etc.

We were talking about this at the Supes comics thread. I freaking love Earth one. Sue me.

I got familiar with the villains during the 90's series. Then I've learned a lot more posting on here over the years.

Ha! That's kind of incredible actually. SHH - your source for superhero knowledge w/o reading the material.

I thought maybe you read some
Since all of us here look forward to see the Amazing Spider-Man Sequel and the director admitted loving Ultimate Spider-Man comics, I recommend reading that series

If by Earth One you mean the mini released in recent years prior to Flashpoint, I haven't read that
I was talking about Cary Bates and Curt Swan team of comic creators work on Superman, and any work on Superman from 1950s to 1986 after they redefined Superman and separated the Golden Age version from Supergirl's cousin

I remember back in the day when posters were talking about "The Night Gwen Stacy Died". I had no idea what they were talking about until I kept reading about it. Now I'm pretty knowledgeable about it. Guess I know what to expect coming up. :p

I got the chance to browse throw a few comics when I was in New York City 4 years ago. I can't remember what they were. I would love to get my hands on some comics someday and sit and read them.

Mmm..
I love how they adapted her famous outfit. So cool.
I actually have a book that compiles the death of Gwen Stacy. Haven't read it get. Probably around spring haha.

I hope you don't mind black & white comics, Essentials of Spider-Man are really good
If you never read TinTin or Asterix, these are good stories
What superheroes are you interested in?

Thought this might be the one
I need to read this

I have interest in all superheroes, but if I had to pick some they would be Spider-Man, Superman and The Hulk. I've always loved the Hulk for some reason more than others.

That's quite a toughie, and I say it as a huge fan of the Hulk
Continuity can be painful sometimes, but good comic writers and editors often remember to fill new readers on what they need to know in a few words
Best place I could tell you to start with is Annual 13, move after that to Incredible Hulk v1 314

Thanks. I'll have to look into that sometime.

I'm questioning my stance on Blu-Ray movies. I've tried to wait for movies to finish their trilogies and stuff before buying them, but I'm wondering if that is even worth it anymore. Should I wait to buy all of The Amazing Spider-Man movies in like 2018 when all four films are out and they make a box set or buy them as they come out? Box sets are a tricky thing. Most of the time, companies simply stick the normal copies of the movies in a nice box, thus you waited for nothing. Sometimes they put every movie in a box and they take away some bonus features that you could have had if you got them separately. But sometimes, sometimes, these collections include everything they released before plus a bonus disc or something that has never been seen before.

I think, if the price is good, I'm gonna start buying movies separately. However, with the Marvel movies I'm gonna wait for Phase 2 Collection, the LoTR/Hobbit I'll wait for the inevitable collection, and James Bond I'll get that 50th Anniversary Edition one day. I'm still waiting to buy the TDK: Ultimate Collector's Edition.

Gonna see what after Christmas sales I can get on Blu-Rays.

Right now I'm buying each blu-ray separately. If they release a mega set with all of the movies together, and many additional features, I'll probably buy that as well and sell my individual copies.

Honestly, I'm not thinking that far ahead right now. For all we know, BD or any physical formats won't exist at that point anyway.
