Ever considered playing games on PC instead?

I've definitely considered it, but ultimately it's just not my thing. I mean, losing Uncharted, God of War, Halo, Gears of War, etc is just too much for me. There really doesn't seem like any PC exclusives for me that could fill that void either. There are some really nice PC games out there, but it's not enough for me to go PC. PC games will always be limited to consoles, and not many big name companies take full advantage of the hardware anyway so why bother?

Yeah, Sony has some neat exclusives, but I think you might want to use it just for the exclusives, and play other stuff on PC

Only Halo 1 and 2 are on PC.

And it's not less expensive... If you want to last a whole generation with PC, you have to upgrade your video card regularly (especially if launch games ask for GTX 670 or superior... End of gen Battefield, for example, might ask for ATI R9 290s minimum lol).

I don't upgrade my graphics card often, only upgraded it once
Games cost less in download, and they can stay on Steam

I imagine you have to put a lot into it at first, then spend some money every year or so to upgrade it. It's just something I can't do at the moment. I'd have to not buy games for like a year to buy a PC.

I don't see why people upgrade their PC that much
All you need is a good performing PC from 2007, Windows 7 Ultimate, and Nvidia 8800, and games work just fine, and Samsung 20" monitor
Upgrade the device next year, if you don't care too much for HD and top quality picture, pictures still look good enough to be honest

I'm playing the Amazing Spider-Man again, I still think it's as fun as when I first played it, cause I saw everything wrong with it since I first completed the game 100%
The game dropped from its rank as my No.1 Spidey game since then, Spidey 3 (Treyarch) became my favorite again, and it still is. Hope Beenox can make a superior game in Amazing Spider-Man 2

Got my PS4 yesterday but due to the PSN being all wacked I wasn't able to download the update and didn't get a chance to play with the system. I won't be able to get to it until tomorrow. I'll be posting my thoughts on the console once I've had a some time to mess around.

Did anyone notice the Cinema movies in show in Amazing Spider-Man the video game? It shows "No Country for Old Men" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"
Though you see 'country' replaced with 'pastry', and 'rabbit' replaced with 'Adam'

This is a neat little video I found, it's a debug build of the Spider-Man 3 game.
The cool part is, it seems Web Of Shadows also started development on Spider-Man 3. They have red and black costumes resembling the ones from WoS, a cutscene with the Helicarrier in a semi-destroyed New York, a "RVB meter" (Red vs Black) and even a part of mission using Venom models as placeholders for symbiote enemies.

Short Version: My PS4 bricked.

Long version: I picked up my PS4 from Best Buy on Saturday but I wasn't able to use it. The time I had available to attempt to download the 1.50 update unfortunately the servers were down or too busy or whatever so I couldn't do anything with it. The next couple of days I was either working or doing other time consuming projects.

Today was the first day I had free so this morning I fired her up and went to get the update going. It downloaded fine then finished the install and then boom. Nothing. It began pulsing blue light and no video was going to the TV. It kept alternating between a black screen and a snow/pixelated screen. I went online thru my PC to IGN and looked up the blue light fix. I went thru the steps and nothing worked. In fact, it ended up alternating between a pulsing blue and pulsing white light. Neato huh?

This sucks. lol. Good thing though is I purchased a protection plan from BB and took it back to the store. They said they are returning the console to Sony for "repairs and/or investigation" as to the reason the update failed. Then they took all my info and when they get the next batch of consoles into the store they'll call me and I get first dibs on a new system. The rep there told me I was only the 4th person to have this issue. Lucky me

I may be really naive, but I can't imagine that sucking. Really, I think it's gonna be the best movie of 2015. I'm not saying because "woww, Batman and Superman in the same movie, crazy **** bro" but because I predict that this will be one of those big surprises like "Wow, I can't believe that movie actually worked"

IMO, don't wait. The update is what appears to be causing the issue. I would at the very least download and install it and make sure everything is working ok. This way if it isn't you can get it fixed/replaced sooner.

I don't think it's gonna be the best blockbuster or my favorite of 2015. Looking forward to SW7! Abrams with a script written by himself and Kasdan? That's going to be great.
