Her points were factually wrong. She said that Stan Lee favored Tobe Maguire's Spider-Man to Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, when it is the other way around in at least two live interviews Stan gave. And while she is hot, I don't think reading a scripted argument was better than Schnepp's, at least he seemed to genuinely know what he was talking about, while she sounded like a poser.

If you prefer Maguire's Spider-Man I respect your opinion, but as a Spider-Man fan for more than 30 years, I respectfully disagree. I don't think we'll ever get an actor as amazing and downright tailored for the role of Spider-Man like Andrew Garfield, and while I'm okay with Maguire playing Spider-Man, Garfield is Spider-Man. It's almost haunting how good and close to the source material he is.

You know what is funny? Do you know WHY my brother in law is so stoked for both TASM2 and GotG?

Because of the USM cartoon. I'm a TSSM guy all the way, but if USM can get people like him hooked in Spidey and Marvel in general, more power to them. And he isn't a kid by the way, he is 24 years old and actually got hooked. I found it hilarious how he got to know Guardians when I posted the trailer in my FB timeline.

Trust me, I couldn't finish the first episode, but somehow that thing is popular. And I have heard nothing about USM getting cancelled.

Has it gotten better? I just felt it was too childish, too humorous (Spidey may be funny but he goes through some serious and dark things), and breaking the fourth wall is not Spidey material.

I sincerely don't know. I'm in the middle of rewarding TSSM in Netflix, I was thinking about giving USM a go after I'm done rewatching it.

Probably not, but I would be more than happy with a comic book series that continued the story arcs in TSSM.
