That's nice
You guys make sure to keep it on the Amazing Spider-Man 2 only, we on't want it to be shut down again

I think I spoiled almost everything about the film. I always read the spoilers even when tagged. I just can't help myself. The only films I have not spoiler were Man of Steel, The Wolverine and Thor 2. Oh, and everything Pre-Avengers. That's were it started. lol

Never ruins my enjoyment though.

7 explained in his reaction video how he still had to decide if it was better than SM2 or not. Yet he also went on to explaining a ton of problems with it? I don't think he liked it as much as people think. His excitement seemed forced for some reason... I don't know, I didn't get a good vibe from his reaction video. Anyone else feel similar?

For me, it's not quite on par with Spider-Man 2.

And the tone-shifts in the movie should've been done much more gradually, indeed.

I recently got Ultimate Spider-Man (The game) on PC and it just brings back all these feelings of nostalgia.

When playing it, I feel it is on-par with many current (Pre- PS4, XOne) games.

Also I enjoy playing it with the Arachnoman costume for some reason! :oldrazz:

It was hard to tell from his initial reaction video, but then a day or two later he came out with his full review and seemed much more positive about it.

I'm anticipating the game more than I do the movie

If I didn't have a 3 hour sit-in exam for my MA to do next week, i'd be watching TASM2 every day for the next week :D

I'm sure my 8/10 may turn into a 7 over time, but I gotta say, it was worth the cinema ticket. When the song "You're that Spider Guy" plays at the end, it really made me giddy.

When 'you-know-what' happened, the entire cinema was dead silent. The chills!

I went through my father's old comics today, and man, I never realized how much Spidey he had. Just two pictures I took, and he has a majority of the earlier Spider-Man comics.

Alot of them are in pretty damn mint condition. He has the night Gwen Stacy Died, but the top portion of the cover page is ripped off. :csad: God I'm willing to bet we're sitting on at least 3000 dollars in the Spider-Man area alone. Outside of the first 3 or so issues (that includes AF15), he has so much of Spidey's early run. Hell, he has a ton of early runs from Marvel. Tales of Suspense, Journey into Mystery, etc. Even DareDevil no. 1. :wow:

I'm envious. lol

My collection of original prints is pretty limited but that's basically because I can't afford anything as a broke college student. Thank goodness for Marvel Masterworks and the Essential series.

As am I. I asked if I could have them when he (god forbid) passes away.

"I'm taking them with the grave to me, sucks to be you" is his exact words LOL.

I can't afford the older ones because good god they're expensive. I remembering being such a naive youngin', asking for Amazing Fantasy 15 for my birthday...and when told I wouldn't be able to get it, as it was around $40,000 my jaw hit the floor. I agree, praise the laawd for the Masterworks and Essentials. Hate that essentials is in black and white though. :/

Classic comic books are very colorful so it ruins the experience a little bit when you read them in b+w. But those Essential books are pretty darn cheap so it's better than nothing I suppose. Now they are releasing those omnibus books in full color with about 20+ issues each so that's something worth investing in.

Agreed. Also, whaaaaaat? I've never heard of them doing a compendium like that. I have a bunch of the early release MM, but this is news to me.
