Aaaaaw.

Well, I didn't sew it myself, either. I'm not very handy with sewing. :(

I did however spend about $350 on the thing and cut eye holes.

$350? :wow:

What's the mask itself made of?

4 way stretch lycra, like the movie suit.

The process of actually getting the mask completely tedious, and pretty expensive.

1. Buy photoshop pattern from whatever seller. Usually about $30.

2. Send the pattern to Fabric On Demand.

3. Have them print the pattern onto the lycra. About $30, also.

4. Have them send the pattern to either you, or a seamstress. In my case, a seamstress because I'm bad at sewing.

5. Pay the seamstress, usually about 60$

6. Pay the seamstress for the shipping to your location. About 25$.

So, that's a total of $145 for the mask, itself.

The faceshell and lenses cost me $225.

225 + 145 = 370. So it's actually, about $370.

wow.

To spend that on a mask, shows dedication.

I think I'll stick to my store bought costume. :funny:

Thanks. :)

And you should probably stick to your store bought costume. Cosplay stuff becomes kind of an addiction, and sometimes a pretty expensive one.

So, have you made any other cosplays? :oldrazz:

I was thinking of making a Harry Goblin costume for "Halloween" this year...

I say Halloween...

Not really. This is my first actual, somewhat "serious" cosplay, but it took over 3 months to complete, and I noticed early on how much money was going into it, but I still kept going. o_O

And cool. Will you be making a glider?

Addiction is a crazy thing. :oldrazz:

But really, kudos! :woot:

Nah. I'm gonna ride my bike in costume.

I'm 100% serious about that. Now you HAVE to imagine Dane's Gobby riding a bike. :funny:

Haha, really? That's ****ing awesome.

What if you modified your bike or something to make it look like a glider, though?

:hmm

I never thought of that.

It's not gonna be 100% accurate to the suit, because of things like resources and budget and all that stuff.
