You can apparently get a pair of claws at trueswords.com for just 25 bucks. They say they are razor-sharp and Canada will not allow them to be shipped there (ironic, ain't it?). Anone seen them for real?

These are nothing like the movie versions, or the comic versions...
They are similar in orientation to the movie version blades/claws but are not as think between the knuckles.
The part that you hold them with in you hand is really fat and round with huge Xes on the sides.
They are made as real stainless steel knives so very dangerous to say the least.

Wouldnt they be more mass marketable if they had made them plastic?

They're not comic/movie accurate, no. But they're awesome nontheless. I have a set and I loves them.

There are actually quite a few different designs out there, on a lot of different sword/knife websites as well as ebay. I like these the best despite their impracticality as replicas.

And they are very very sharp.

those must have been like ridiculously expensive. can i ask how much they cost?

Actually, I got them from the place the OP said- trueswords.com. I also got a kickass sword at the same time.

Anyhoo, they were $25 plus shipping. I forget exactly but I think shipping was $7 or so.

Not that expensive at all.

LRunt - Yeah they look pretty nice when you display them like that. :word:

Mine don't display nearly as well...

The claws that girl's holding are hanging on my wall. I bought them in Florida at a flea market and the guy who sold them said I could have that one for $25 or have two other wolverins claws that were smaller for $25. They had a wooden handle and shorter claws so I took the first one instead.

Spamtron, that's you in that pic? Dude -- you are the man, umm the wolverine. Very cool.

Nice, Spamtron. The movie accurate ones are neato torpedo indeed. I'm a decorative cutlery collector anyway, so I don't mind having some non-accurate stuff around. Someday I'll get my hands on a pair of more accurate ones.

Thanks for the words... The claws were a B!T@& to finish up. Hours of filing, sanding, polishing.
You can find some decent polished sets that won't take too much to fit & finish off for around $120 on ebay.

It was so warm here last halloween I went without the other layers for my son's TorTing that day... although I did have them on for a friend's party on a much cooler night.

Sharp pointy things are fun!

haha. man I was a ranger at my time, it's good to see kid's still put on the muscle pads and kickass gear.

Thanks Lbabe! Yeah he's pretty much my world... definitely the cutest thing ever seen, but I may be a little biased! ;)

E-Zero, he definitely muscles up pretty well in costume!

You can make a set from wood to. You can make them look as you please. I don’t have a butch of power tools ether. Get some cheep plywood and use one of the sets you see on line make a stencil and cut away. I do have a drill bit that cuts wood.

^I'm getting a pair of those. Just erase the tips and make 'em pointy. Plus their long.
