Wolverine ranked #1 Fictional Power Player in Hollywood!

They make a ton more money.

They've had a much larger cultural impact.

The characters are treated better.

The source material is given respect.

Best of all, no Wolverine.

You don't like Wolverine. WE GET IT.

By the way...X-Men has an almost 40-year head start on Harry Potter.

Fans have complained plenty about changes from the books to the movies, and Chris Columbus has been called a "hack" almost as often as Brett Ratner has. And the acting ability of it's young cast have taken a beating by the critics on a number of occassions.

Something they have in common...religious groups have condemned Harry Potter for "promoting witchcraft" and they've condemned X-Men for "accepting evolution as fact."

I think it's safe to say they've both made their own impact. I'm a big fan of both.

last year wasnt Vader the most powerful fictional character or something?

From your point of view, Strawberry Shortcake is a more important character than Wolverine.

It doesn't matter, because they've yet to make an X-Men movie.

There's been 3 installments of

WOLVERINE

and his little mutie sidekicks, but there's never been a REAL X-Men movie.

Strawberry Shortcake didn't get Cyclops screwed over in X3 and then killed in the comics. So she's less offensive at least.

Maybe you should rent something else the next time you go to the video store.

Almost all of those characters are vastly superior to Wolverine. The only thing Wolverine needs to do is die. **** him.
I'm all for that

That's because she's a doll. :p

My favorite Marvel character just got killed off in the movie where he should have been featured, and is now getting killed off in the comics. It can all be directly traced to the stupid, disgusting, bastardous, piece of **** character that is Wolverine and his idiot fans. So I've got all rights to be pissed.

You are aware that these are fictional characters, aren't you?

Frightening, isn't it? Actually makes Star Trek fans look sane. "Picard is the best Captain!!!" "No, it's Kirk!!!"

It's easy to say that kind of crap when nothing bad is ever done to your favorites.

Being a Wolverine fan is like rooting for Bill gates to win the lottery.

And they say it all in Klingon!

Oh Geez, that old Bill Gates chestnut again?

If something like that had been done to one of my favorites I would, I don't know, read a book? Get my hair done? Help my kids with their homework....You know, live?

Sure it has...but I've gotten over it.

Not exactly. That's saying that I want Wolverine to win something. Why would I want him to win anything?

Say it with me: THEY'RE NOT REAL!!!

You've never had to be in that situation, though, have you?

And here's what I do-I rant about it on the net and then go about my business.

Whoa whoa whoa.....One or two posts of rant, sure knock yourself out.

Everyday for well over a month? Ummm....time to step away from the keyboard.

My favorite Stephen King book is "Salem's Lot." I must have read it a dozen times. It's been made into movie twice...and it's been terrible both times. I had so much hope that 2nd version would finally be as faithful and scary as the book...but it was actually less faithful. I'm still waiting for my good version of "Salem's Lot." I doubt it will happen.

My favorite Broadway show was "Rent." My friends and I camped out in the snow to see it in the front row. The movie version was good...but one of the most vital and beautiful moments in the show was cut because it was "too dramatic." That was devastating for me.

I've gotten OVER it. I'll just read "Salem's Lot" again. I listen to the "Rent" soundtrack where that song wasn't cut.

Or...I'll do SOMETHING ELSE!!! Life does in fact, go on.

And here's what I do-I rant about it on the net and then go about my business.

And then the rest of us have to suffer.

Get over yourselves, really. People in Iraq suffer.

Take some of your own advice and get over yourself....PLEASE!!!!

All this Wolverine talk will be over in a few weeks when Superman Returns comes out, is a great movie and makes a ton of money anyway.

I could care less about myself. I care about the characters, the story and showing respect for the original material.

Whoop-dee-freakin-do.......

And if it doesn't? What then?

Again...whoop-dee-freakin-do.
