Marvel Handbooks have Wolverine listed as having a son named Erista. I have been researching this child of Wolverine's and I found that the child was born in Wolverine: the jungle adventure and that the child's sex was revealed in Uncanny X-Men #353, but the name Erista has still not been found. Who knows where it can be found???

.... haven't you posted this question before? It seems awfully familiar...

Savage Land. Wolverine's son is in the Savage Land.

Where in the comics can I find the name Erista, that was the Question? and I made a new thread because someone told me that the X-Men area is for the movies so I made a new thread in the Marvel comic book section, so again:

Where in the comics can I find the name Erista, that was the Question?

tried thats why I'm here, I have researched for about two years now, and google was the first place I checked.

Listen.... List the COMIC BOOK that the name is in. You know, where was the name revealed in a comic book, what issue?

doesn't Colossus have a son in the Savage Land as well?

It wasn't in Wolverine: The Jungle Adventure? Because I'm fairly certain that the kid never showed up ever again.

not sure, all I car about is what comic book issue the name Erista came from, I know it wasn't from Wolverine: Jungle Adventure....I own it and have read it like 6 times hoping I overlooked it, but no it is not listed in there, and as far as I know the kid never did show up again, but Marvel seems to think the kids name is Erista.

come on, I was hoping someone would just know, You would think that Marvel would know, I even ask Eric J. Moreels, the writer of the Marvel Wolverine Handbook and he didn't know where he got the name from.

....

What was the point of that?

guys remember the thread is on Wolverine's son........guys..........guys

Wolverine's son is boring. He never showed up after the Jungle Adventure as far as anyone can tell, anyway.

To show that not everything turns to hard metallic on Collusus. If it did, his shorts would have been torn in two.

if thats true then we caught Marvel in a big screw up seeing how they gave Wolverine a son named Erista that in the comic world does not exist, well at least his name dosen't.

Marvel will just create some alternative time-line or have Wolverine suddenly remember his son.

Marvel doesn't have "screw ups," they have incidents awaiting retcons.

That's odd, since Eric actually added the thing about Erista to Wolverine's bio. It's been debated countless times over at ComiXfan (Moreels' base of operations) dozens of times, and it seems even Eric can't remember why he put it in there. It snuck into the handbook though when he started writing it.

You act like catching Marvel in a big screw up is something hard to do.

Hell, you can usually do it three or four times in a Bendis comic (or page...when the stars align just right).

I'm not sure why you're going on about this so much.

The name is only found in the Handbook therefore it was revealed in the Handbook. It's as simple as that.

It's not a screw up on Marvel's part. They own and create the characters, they can reveal or not reveal the information in any way they please. Marvel's been revealing previously unknown information in the Handbooks since their very first volume.
