I once had a History teacher who used to type his emails all in caps... took a while to get used to, but I got a laugh out of it every time.

Some teachers are weird. I have a Psyche professor right now who has a speech impediment.. He talks like THIS and stresses/yells random WORDS in his daily LECTURES and they end up sounding like LONG stretched out sentences..

It's annoying as hell. Does that make me a bad person? That's the same thing with professors teaching a class and having a foreign accent. I can't understand them!! :l

Last year my Nutrition professor was from Korea. It was soooo hard to understand him, and in a 500 person lecture class, I sat in the front row but to no avail. It was impossible to understand him. And what made things even more infuriating, was that all of his TA's were foreign also [I don't quite remember their backgrounds..]!!

Needless to say, he got so many complaints that I think we all ended up with A- ... 'cause after a while I got pissed and stopped caring about going to his class.

i think i used to use all caps when i was first on these boards but thats only because thats what we have to use here at my workplace. everything HAS TO BE in caps.

When I worked for an Insurance company, all of the clientele notes in the system had to be typed in caps. Sooooo annoying.

I remember I had a math teacher with a heavy Haitian accent. Nobody could understand a word he said. Then when my dad went to go see him for that parent teacher interview about my grades, my dad just sat there and nodded the entire time not knowing what the hell he said either.

We're living in an age where communicating is easier than ever and as such it's a more sensitive medium... and yet it makes anonymity all that much easier.

I think she should've been fired on the grounds of "not knowing how to use the internet and acting like a 12 year old boy or a mom." She must've been aware that being annoying and confrontational was unacceptable and either that was her purpose or she didn't know better. Either way get rid of her.
