I'm thinking "crap". The other word doesn't work, unless it's got a new usage.
I hate people. People that closed minded shouldn't be allowed to breed.
why would they censor crap?
I see no problem with a woman with one arm on tv. Don't see how kids can be scared of that, unless she is wearing sleeveless top.
Sarcasm aside, have you actually seen her? She's quite tasty. This has all blown up out of proportion (probably because we need something new to talk about in this country) but I think the complaints are really in the minority. When kids see someone with a disability and they get scared, then that's a reflection on their upbringing and I think just illustrates bad parenting - especially considering the way it was handled by the parents. Lets see....if a kid sees someone in a wheelchair then they're more likely to ask them if they can do wheelies. They just see the world with a certain innocence.I guess a woman with a disability is more frightening than a huge purple dinosaur that hangs out at the school all day talking to children and could have eaten their teacher.
What's the medical term for this condition? I saw someone on the subway with it before, it's been driving me nuts trying to figure out what the medical term is. The "a small vestigial hand of sorts" tidbit. One of my classmates in high school was missing her lower left arm, having a small vestigial hand of sorts, where her elbow was. She often wore t-shirts and did nothing to hide it. She functioned pretty much normally - she could actually hold things in her left elbow. She was even on the cheer team.
Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if these stupid parents would have protested her presence in the high school, or the fact that she did nothing to hide her physical deformity, God forbid.![]()
