Lets see...the hospital won't tell her what happened because of other patients rights...what other patients rights it happened to her...The hospital screwed up somewhere if they wont tell her what happened..even though money won't bring back her arms and legs she needs to sue the hospital and hold them and the doctor responsible, lose his medical license or better yet seek criminal charges against him.

That about sums it up. What a horrible thing; to never be able to hold and hug your children because some quack did something incredibly stupid and the hospital is covering for him.

That could be for two reasons:

1. The trial hasn't occurred yet so there is no more news to report

2. The hospital settled out of court with an addendum that said if the patient, her family or her lawyer told anyone of their agreement they would have to relinquish all funds.

Solution 2 is very likely given that no more has been heard 2 years hence.

It is horrible what happenned to her and surprising that all appendages were attacked. Something out of a horror movie....

This is horrific. You take someone's arms and legs and then you don't tell them why you did it? What kind of freaking hospital is this? Where was the husband in all of this? How can you perform a surgery like this without at least some kind of notification to her family? What harm would occur if the hospital simply told her one of the patients on her floor had streptococcus? I want some answers.
