Wonder Woman Trailer Speculation Thread

I think that WW solo is what DC's SDCC panel should be most focused on. Much to my surprise it would seem that the spotlight will be on SS, though.

I think it's because JL is going to need to fight an uphill battle to get more people hyped after BVS. Suicide Squad meanwhile has had a really good marketing campaign, and WB is allegedly very pleased with the movie behind the scenes. Why not hype it up even more?

Wonder Woman still has a ways to go before it's released and hasn't started its big marketing push yet. But SDCC would be a good place to start.

That's probably the case, it makes sense. Unless I'm mistaken, there won't another SDCC before "Wonder Woman" hits theaters, so I'm kinda disappointed that it won't be their focus though.

They can still pimp WW and SS but with a little more focus on SS because it comes out in two months. There is also a NYCC to pimp Wonder Woman there too.

I'd like them to do a panel and release a teaser trailer because this is the last time they will be able to do it at SDCC before the movie comes out.

I see no point in hyping JL right now. Save the JL hype for SDCC 2017. It's better to focus on the next 2 DCEU movies.

Supposedly they were pleased with BvS also, until they got scared?? of the long run time and forced some cuts.
I really hope that doesn't happen with SS, ie, WB worrying about having more showings and cut it down. Sometimes you just gotta trust what you got and go with it. If it's good it will do fine, long run time or not..

I think WW will be fine, prolly/hopefully in the 700/750 mill range, which would be great for her first solo film.

I think they should release it like this

Teaser attached to SS
1st official trailer attached Rogue One or Dr. Strange
2nd trailer in March
3rd and final trailer in May

That's too much trailers, if you ask me. Teaser at CC or with Suicide Squad is fine. Full trailer in January and a final one in April or May. Any more and they'll risk of showing too much like with BvS.

I think teaser attached to Suicide Squad then a trailer with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them then a final trailer attached to one of the WB March movies like Kong or Knights of the Roundtable.

I don't think so for the simple fact that Suicide Squad will most likely have 4 total trailers and they still didn't spoil the plot

As for the trailer I want to see some WW action, we got a glimpse of it in the first look. But I want to see more of WW kicking butt.

Also hope they throw in a couple really good shots of Themyscira, now that at least some of the scenes should look more polished. I recall a couple people saying that the First look footage, seemed like SYFY channel quality.

I hope they learn from BvS, and not give away too much in the trailers.

A teaser with Suicide Squad would be perfect. I hope the vibe reflects the movie and it's not misleading.

So what do you guys think are the odds of a Wonder Woman teaser released to the general public at SDCC?

Loved that they used her official BvS theme song!

Hey Guys Check out My reaction Vid:

I watch this trailer daily. I think I'm hyped for this film even more than JL (certainly much more than SS). I love this period (well, both of them, if we consider an ancient setting as a "period"), I have a thing for WWI and WWII stories (especially WWI as it is much less covered in films), I like coming of age arcs, Wondy is my second favorite DC hero after Batman and, damn, do some shots, locations and overall cinematography look gorgeous. From the vibe of the trailer, it seems to have some genuine drama, as well as action, which I welcome. I certainly have high hopes for this film.

Only thing missing from the trailer is presence of Greek gods, but I'm pretty sure Ares is the main antagonist. Jenkins did confirm they were drawing heavily from Perez at Wonder Woman panel.

Do you think there's any chance that they will show Olympus and various Greek gods ?

I believe they'll only hint at it. But if they're telling the whole story of Amazons being taken from original Themyscira and placed on the island or the souls of fallen women being reinvigorated, there is a possibility we'll see the likes of Aphrodite, Athena, Demeter, etc.
