Apparently its coming to select cites this month, on the 25th. Hope one of those cities is Phoenix. I don't wanna miss this in theaters.

I admit my primary interest in this movie is Emma Stone, but I gotta say seeing Colin Firth doing this character should be worth the price of admission by itself.t:

MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT is, for lack of a better word, magic. Woody Allen has done it again. Way funnier than expected, with gorgeous sets.

Just saw this this morning. Really liked it, incredibly charming and funny. Not supposed to write about until Friday though. That Janet Charlatan person is spouting some serious quote-****ing hyperbole though.



Woody Allen fans are in for a gigantic treat. His next film, “Magic in the Moonlight “ – due to be released this month, is one of Woody’s greatest triumphs. It’s visually delectable and the French Riviera in the 1920’s has never been more appealing. Colin Firth plays a smart, sarcastic, and egotistical magician to perfection. Woody has written him some of the best dialog EVER and Colin is hilarious. The movie is WAY more fun than the trailer implies – it renews your faith in intelligent comedy.

Beautiful movie.

It had really great fashion, fit for the time period and everyone was looking great. Colin Firth was brilliant as an pompous ass, he really channels Mr. Darcy at the end with his "i won't dignify this" come back from Bridget Jones making a come back hahah.

I really loved the theme that Allen set with this movie, Firth's character is a nihilisitc misantrope who loves science and logic, but you can't explain love with logic, it's pure magic. <3

Really good "feel good" movie that works for everyone.
