World's Oldest (Known) Fossil Found In Europe

It's probably not the "actual" living matter. Not sure how long it actually takes, but the bones get replaced with minerals from the ground becoming rock.

Thus the word "Known" in the title. :whatever:
But I am not talking about the entire world DICK! I believe there are people in this world who know of an older fossil. The public, however, knows this to be oldest.

It still shocks me that any formerly living matter can survive that long.

Hell, the bird that our neighborhood cat Steve caught and killed in our driveway is nothing but a flattened chunk of feathers:dry:.

This dude still has teeth:wow:.

It is pretty interesting. Humans have been around much longer than people have thought..and they are in places they should not be in..
