Worst movie you've seen in 2006

I dont watch ****ty movies. So i dunno. POTC2 is the only movie i disliked that i saw this year so i'll go with that.

Ulli Lommel's Black Dahlia. I didn't pay for the rental, so all I'm out is the 10 minutes I spent watching it before I left the room. Far, far worse than the legendary Troll 2 (the usual #1 on my Worst movie lists).

As far as movies that weren't financed by stolen lunch money, I have to go with Miami Vice. What a letdown.:csad:

Saw 2. It gives me nightmares. Not that it was scary but that I paid to see it in the theatre. So bad. So very, very bad.

The Grudge 2, which I only saw cuz a friend of mine dragged me into seeing it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; you guys have no idea what a bad movie really is. Hollywood movies, no matter how poor, will always have redeeming features, high quality production values, and so on.

The really bad ones are the straight-to-DVD-or-VHS movies, stuff with hardly any budget whatsoever, no talent involved, and barely enough equiptment to even make the film in the first place. Stuff that is so rushed, everything is a first take. Where you see people mess up lines on camera because it's too expensive to reshoot.

Unwatchable stuff. They're the worst movies ever made.

Maybe they weren't dumb enough to watch a lot of crappy straight-to-DVD movies this last year.

X-Men 3 all the way.
Running Scared (sorry, sickening camerawork and a crying/screaming Paul Walker who STILL cannot act does not a good movie make)

I am watching Lady in the Water and it looks like it may make this list.

But that´s exactly their redeeming value: they´re so amateuresque that they´re (though unintentionally) hilarious. I thnk it´s actually worse when real money and real talent is wasted on a totally crappy movie. Maybe even worse are pretentious movies that are supposed to be "arty" but just bore you to death.

wait I just rememberd, I saw lady in the water, that was the worst movie i've ever seen, 2006 or not.

Date Movie.

Nobody say Superman Returns of X3.

Superman Returns...seriously. :o
Along with The Da Vinci Code

All the bad movies I've seen were lurid and stuff, so

I've seen a few unentertaining ones though. Forrest Gump springs to mind. I think the movie would have been improved if it had the prerequisite amount of explosions to maintain my interest, you know?

Pipe dreams.

Its really hard to decide from x-3,Night at the musume(spelling), or lady in the water.Um Maybe Night.

Black Christmas; i nearly broke my hand punching a wall after that one.

Oh yeah.
How did I forget Night at the Museum.
That movie sucked balls.

To the person who said Direct-To-Video were the worst, I disagree.
I find them incredibly enjoyable, I know what I am getting into with them.
Usually Heroes who seem invincible, and take no damage (ALA Steven Seagal or other DTV Action actors) and wooden or hammy acting. I watch them for the Action/Fight scenes and not really for the acting. For the entertainment and escapism value of the films and not the artiness of them. They will never win any Oscars or anything, but some are great. Also, some really great TV-Movies are released in the DTV format, like Agatha Christie's Poirot and Miss Marple mysteries from PBS, and A&E.

My worst movie of 2006 is DaVinci Code, what a piece of trash that turned out to be.

Hmm...Eragon was pretty dang bad, as was X3...Fox had a huge boxoffice this year, but also had some of the worst films in recent history, the only good one I can think of is The Devil Wears Prada.

date movie is the worst movie of the past few years... scary movie 4 was awful, too. that was this year, right?

miami vice...... or if a uwe boll movie came out.

and black christmas

that uwe boll movie that came out this year was Bloodrayne...a year ago, take a day.

Personally i thought Bloodrayne was okay, wasn't good but it wasn't horrible (I had actually been waiting for it for a while...didn't know [or care] about who was directing it or whatever). Personally...I don't really think there was a terrible movie for me...I'm too easy to please when it comes to movies.

The worst movie however may be a tie between Bloodrayne and Date Movie

Enlighten me.

Were you brought up on fairy tales that hardly made sense and was sung weird lullabyes as a kid?

Well, you didn't like it that's okay, I did. I loved it...great film, I love going into a weird world.

(though no place in this thread) These were good movies.
Superman Returns - great because it stuck with the orginal two movies (you just hate it because Bryan Singer left the X series to do this...and that isnt even what happened)
The Da Vinci Code - as a reviewer on IMDb says, this is a good film for intelligent, unbiased people. For all those who didn't like it...wow...that tells us so much about you.

well that's my OPINION and defence done for tonight.

Kisses, y'all.

I think The Departed is highly overrated...it is not even close to being one of "the best films of all time" like people claim

anyway, for the films I thought in theaters:
1. X3
2. Mi3
3. Miami vice
4. Superman Returns
5. POTC 2
were all terrible imo

hmmm worst movie this year. well let me think.
Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion
uuuuuugh
