Worst movie you've seen in 2006

I'd have to say Superman Returns
.
I was severely disappointed and disenchanted in Singer's soulless film which had more emphasis on banality, and which gave us a great concept with the return, but it turned out to be lame with "superkid" and super lack of action to complement was was in actuality by my opinion, a poor story brought forth by two limited writing talents, and a fragile ego driven Bryan Singer, who's mental instability was evident in his tunnel vision of excluding many elements which have made Superman great through the years in exchange for giving us what amounted to little more than a soulless homage to the Donner film, which should have been left in the past.

I can't believe people are actually listing stuff like X3, POTC and Superman Returns. These were at least decent films with redeeming scenes. I guess this makes sense if these were the only films you've seen this year, but actually bad films? That honor would easily go to Hostel. Nacho Libre would probably be my follow up.

I didn't see many new movies in 2006 (less than 10, I believe) but the worst overall was Pirates II. It stands as the longest and most pointless movie trailer in history.

Agreed. Hostel seemed like an hour of porn, and then just a few moments of gore.

I expected alot from Nacho Libre...but I just didn't laugh
