Would anyone like a Stan Lee biopic, and who could play him?

It could trace his career from the 1930s at Timely comics and detail the rise of Marvel and the invention of various classic characters like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man etc.

It could also cover quite a significant portion of time (60 years) and the changes in the 20th and 21st centuries.

Not sure who would be the best actor for the role.

wait, am I getting mad or does a thread like this already exist here

I was thinking about this before but do we really want a biopic that might counteract the idea of stan we have in our head? For example what if in his younger days he was actually a really mean guy?

Obviously if he did something criminal, sure we need to know but idk I think sometimes it's better to keep the idea of a person as they are now

I don't know. We'll see. A major issue is the handling of his relationship with Marvel and whether the filmmakers could get clearance to openly show those characters.

plus, there's the "behind the scenes" issues that could get ugly.

I didn't know a thread existed. It was started a while ago.

They could call the movie "Excelsior".
