Stan Lee talks about his role in FF2

• Stan Lee spoke at a Spider-Man 2 screening event in Hollywood with Kevin Smith recently, and remarked on a small role he has in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer..."
  Jack Kirby and I had done a Fantastic Four story a million years ago, and there was a scene where we injected ourselves into the story. Jack actually drew him and me in a panel in the story doing something. In Fantastic Four 2, they replicate that very scene that we did, live-action. Unfortunately Jack couldn't be here to do it, but I come in and I do what we had done in the comic book.​
  The issue Stan refers to is Fantastic Four #10 in which Dr. Doom shows up in the Marvel Comics offices. He removes his mask in front of Stan and Jack, who both cringe at the sight of Doom's scarred face.

Actually I think Stan is referring to the scene at Reed & Sue's wedding, where he and Jack Kirby are denied entrance. I'm assuming this because we know Stan was at the wedding shoot recently.
Unless Dr.Doom actually does turn up at the wedding as some have suggested...

I'm glad they're recreating that element of the FF wedding. Its a shame Jack Kirby isn't around to be a part of it.
