Dunno. Personally that would be like explaining why I don't want Headmasters, Targetmasters, or Pretenders in the movie. Any gimmick beyond Combiners/Gestalts is a step too far IMO.

I agree that they should have 2 or more transformers combine into someon else, just not in this movie, the one thing you don't wanna do is give too much too quickly.

But it is going to be badass to see someone like Devistator kicking the Dinobots asses.

The only TF's I want to see merged are the Constructicons, and that may not be until the sequel should there be one.
