would you major in something because of the money or for the love of it?

Have you thought about volunteering somewhere that interests you? You could network and maybe get some ideas of jobs/careers you never thought of.

I know some Zoo's need volunteers, just an example.

Liberal arts is pointless. Quite frankly I don't see the point of a college degree period unless you're studying something specific that requires it in your field of study. If you're undecided about what you want to major in halfway thru just drop out before you spend a fortune in student loans you'll never be able to pay back. A huge debt will hold you back more when you graduate than lacking a college degree.
It's not pointless to at least start off majoring in Liberal Arts, that way, if you change your mind like some people are, you can already apply classes you have taken to a different major.

And major companies now are actually looking at Liberal Arts degrees as actaully a valuable asset, up there with a degree in business, political science, and communication. Now obviously, if they are going to specialize in something specific, they will have to get a higher degree like MBA or law, but that is pretty much the case for almost any degree nowadays.
