Would you torture someone to find a missing loved one?

Yes, I would.

But forget about that, you hire hookers.

How do you afford these hookers, while living at home?

Where do you have sex with them?

And how often do you have sex with them?

Using big words doesn't count if your swedish supermodels typed them for you.:o

Only if the torturee was responsible for the abduction of said loved one.

Y'know...it couldn't just be some random guy with a map.

all i'd have to do is get my friend meagan to sing and they'd be spilling the beans

I most definitely would without any form of hesitation. I also would torture those who have kidnapped non-relatives and are making those particular families suffer too.

In other words I'd pull a slow Punisher on them.

haaahaha!
i just thought of driving down some random road and seeing a guy walking along with a map, eating cheetos from the local gas station, and getting out and beating him unmercifully while screaming

"how do i get to main street!!?? i'm not going to ask you again!!!"

I don't know if I could physically torture someone. Even if that person deserves it. Causing another pain makes me feel horrible inside.

I hope the government doesn't start doing stuff like that, but if I was in that circumstance I would, and I wouldn't look down on anybody else who chose to either. There is just no way I could let them die.

I do support the government torturing terrorists to get info though.

I feel bad when I pick the wings off a housefly. I guess I put myself in others' position and realize how unpleasant it is to suffer.

So far everyone who voted is willing to torture another human being. Kinda unsettling.

I don't think I could.

Possibly if they were involved.

But, eh.....I don't think I could live with myself.

I'd capture all the possible supects first. Line them all up in a room and just ask one question. The whereabouts of my "brother/sister/mother/father/girlfriend/etc." ... do you know it ? yes or no ?

What if you had torture them to get the answers? Are you willing to pull off finger nails and teeth?

Naw ... I prefer to end it right there. Their screaming & moaning would've drove me crazy. So it's they either give it up right there or you're dead. One of the others are sure to cough up something.

nah, that's just logic getting in the way of your patriotism.

Hell yes. I'd torture someone if they took someone I loved. I wouldn't rest until I found them and the person would regret messing with me.

yes but from my point of view not torturing them means choosing to let the loved one go missing. One could easily consider that unsettling. If somebody from my family was missing and one of my friends or family members had the chance to help find them by torturing and they chose not to, I'd be a little unsettled with them.

No they don't. I support torturing terrorists to get information, but we have to monitor the slippery slope as closely as possible, so we don't Saddam Husseinize our own country.
