Yeah so I was looking through a video store the other day and I saw that really bad captain america movie from years ago. The one where he had fake plastic ears on the outside of his costume. remember that one? So what old marvel movies have you seen. I mean old ones, or just really bad ones.

seen the old Dr. Strange movie when it first aired

It was okay, bit campy. Go look it up on google. Pretty sure there's pics you can find

Yeah, the guy just needed to be bigger.

Red Skull looks funny though...Doesn't really look like a skull, as realistic as it is.

I have seen the original Captain America movies with Reb Brown as Cap. The original Spider-Man show with Nicholas Hammond. I own Captain America on VHS and will buy it when/if it ever comes out on DVD. I have Generation X and Nick Fury on VHS. I have the 89 Punisher on VHS and DVD. I've also seen The 94 FF movie.

As for The Cap movie, There was a couple of cool scenes in it and I actually liked the Red Skull. If you ever get the chance pick up the bootleg version at a convention. It has some scenes in it that were cut out of the VHS release.

i have a copy of it and the two tv movies all in all i prefer the reb brown version

I watched the Nick Fury TV movie starring the Hoff.

Sheer awesomeness :o

I have seen all those bad movies. The Spider-Man 70's stuff, Generation X, Punisher 89', Dr. Strange, Captain America (90's and Reb Brown's I and II), Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD....such memories....not good ones, but memories none the less.

Captain America and The Incredible Hulk were the first two Marvel renditions on film that I had seen in my life. In my opinion, for the budget they were working on both did a respectable job at trying to bring the comics to life.

Man that is going back. I remember watching that when I was a kid. I had the TV guide earmarked all week.

Meh...the Spider-Man TV series culminated into what ended up becoming a show with good direction but low budget. Pete's actor and the valid attempt at 'wall-crawling' was the draw-in for me. Shame the Sci-Fi Channel doesn't showcase it anymore. It would be much better than those made-for-TV abominations they run 24/ 7.

I remember that.

The Captain America movie from the early 90's was alright. I wouldnt say it's the absolute worst Marvel film I've ever had the displeasure of watching, but it was entertaining at times I thought. As there were some scenes I did think worked well (Cap wandering around looking for his lost love being one of them). Unfortunately the budget limitations didnt help matters, but I found it to be a decent effort. Just another ok Marvel movie that seemed to be the norm until Blade and X-Men hit the silver screens.

those reb brown movies were sweet. I used to watch them when sci fi did the marvel action day. they would play all of these classics. I still have trouble watching reb brown movies though, ever since I saw "space Mutiany" on MST3K

"Would you please pull over the car? I think I am going to be sick."

One of the more amusing scenes in the movie. That Cap movie is a guilty pleasure to me. I know it is bad, but it is funny bad. The kind of bad where I can watch it and be amused.

i hear that:spidey:

I never saw the attempt at Dr. Strange. I did see the old Cap & Spdey debacles, as well as the Hulk movie w/DD & Thor. Good God, they make you appreciate the recent films so much more.

I always thought Rex Smith made a great Matt Murdock/DD. It was the execution of it all that blew dog. That and I'm sure they had a shoestring budget for the Hulk movies.

Can anyone post pix of Generation X? Also anyone remember a show called Mutant X, was that at all connected to the comic with Havok?

i love the old hulk movies where other marvel heros would show up. I think "the trial" had daredevil, and oh shoot what was the one with thor?
