It's getting hard to keep up with these constantly new threads, I'm pretty sure Thread Manager is slowly gaining sentience and will develop a Brainiac like persona. Now, as I just got off work, it's time to go read the Raw results.

R-Truth might be better as a heel, but that opening promo shows that he still cant handle a microphone for ****. Miz is still great. Best mic worker in the biz.

This Lawler v. Cole thing needs to end. This is a 1 ppv storyline that they've stretched out into 3 for no good reason what so ever.

Okay Raw. Not great. Not horrible. Hopefully Smackdown is good tomorrow. Hope to see some good stuff.

PS: anyone know if WalMart releases stuff at midnight? They two by me are 24 hours, and if they make it available, id like to go pickup tye Wrestlemania 27 DVD at midnight.

As does Mick Foley, he's back on TNA, and if he got a wild hair up his butt, he could make Miz look like a chump. His anti-hardore promos from ECW make Miz look like a joke. Hell, Flair can cut better promos in his sleep when he's motivated.

Yeah. I mean, I love The Miz but the best mike worker in the biz? That's highly debatable when you have greats like CM Punk and Mick Foley still workin'.

Miz isn't all that inventive on the mic and doesn't show much range. I remember when Jericho would say " I'm the best in the world at what I do" and he seemed to believe it. Miz's " Must see champion" and " I'm awesome" are comical.
I think Miz is a good talker but certainly not the best in the business and not even on Raw compared to CM Punk.

I don't think Miz is the best Mic workers in the biz. Triple H, Flair, Foley, Punk, Rock, Bischoff, and even Bubba Ray cut better promos than the Miz. Robert Roode cut a better promo than the Miz last week. I'd even argue that Cody Rhodes is better and more creative a talker than the Miz.

And when Jericho comes back...get ready to see him smoke the Miz on the mic.

And thats why he was called Kermit tonight. Like I said...Frog Prince.

I like Punk but I'm not a huge fan of his work. It doesn't entertain me the way Miz does.

Foley is great. But I wouldn't rate him higher on the mic than Miz.

Miz is entering mic work territory that only guys like The Rock and Jericho, and very few others, have reached in my book.

After Lawler's beat down by Swagger he returned post match(Swag vs kofi), threw Swagger over the barrier , threw a chair into Cole's box, and pulled him by the tie repeatedly smacking his face into the glass. It was glorious.

Codys making it work for him. Dusty is one of the greatest talkers ever and didn't let the lisp hurt his work.

That was a great promo, it came off as real.

You've got to be kidding me? Watch his heel promos from ECW, Foley is on another level. He, unlike Miz, can make you believe what he's saying. Being a good promo guy is about more than reading lines from a script. The best promos come from a place of genuine emotion, where a guy takes his life experiences and uses them. The Miz is so much a product of the WWE machine that I doubt he could cut a promo from the heart.

I still recall the days I was defending Miz's push in here and Nell was one of the biggest haters!
Opinions change.
We just need to make a CM Punk fan out of him and he'll be peaches.

I like Miz, he can be funny at times, he can create catchphrases and sound bites, but he has no depth. When it comes time to stop all the jokes and go deeper he will fold. His promos are completely shallow and until he starts to get real, he will never be great.
