Daniel Bryan.

Possible worked as a heel.

:awesome:

I wouldn't get hopes up. It wasn't necessarily that he was a heel. But going up against Sin Cara, the crowd definitely wasn't behind him. The crowd was going hard for Sin Cara. Bryan didn't do anything blatantly heelish

Buzzkill. :csad:

Buzzkill. :csad:

Sorry. :(

I just don't want to be the source of starting bad info just because I saw things differently being there, and the crowd was so over for one guy that they couldn't get behind the other guy.

If what I saw was legit tho, that would be a very interesting turn of events.

So how was Sin Cara's entrance? Did you see the trampoline and all that?

Just got home from Smackdown. Spoilers and my thoughts:

I'll have to see how it translates to TV, but I thought this was a particularly good Smackdown.

The show opened with Christian coming out, congratulating Randy Orton on winning the title, and stating that he agreed with Teddy Long's decision to have a title match, because it's Teddy Long's job to make the best show he can for the WWE Universe. But he also said he was looking forward to his match at Over The Limit, because he knew that a 100% prepared Christian could beat Randy Orton. Sheamus interrupted, and said that what the WWE Universe wanted was for him and Christian to have a match right now. Then Mark Henry interrupted, and said that the WWE Universe wanted to see a match between him and Sheamus. When the crowd boo'd him, Mark Henry and Sheamus decided they wanted to have a handicap match against Christian. The 2 attacked Christian, and Randy Orton came out to make the save. The 2 fought Sheamus and Henry out of the ring and stood tall. Later, there'd be a promo with Christian and Orton backstage with Teddy Long. Long said he made a tag team match for that night; Orton & Christian v. Sheamus & Henry. After Long left, Christian thanked Orton for making the save. Orton said he had his reasons for doing it. He wanted Christian at 100% for Over The Limit so there'd be no excuses for when he beat Christian.

Match 1:
Sin Cara def. Daniel Bryan

Chavo Guerrero came out to introduce Sin Cara to the ring, stating that Sin Cara was following in his footsteps. Chavo then went to commentary, and Sin Cara faced off against Daniel Bryan in what was by far the match of the night. At the end of the match, Daniel Bryan went to climb to the top rope, and Chavo came and grabbed his foot. Bryan kicked Guerrero off, but the distraction was enough for Sin Cara to do get Bryan and set him up for his top rope finisher. Sin Cara got the pinfall, and as he was walking away, the TitanTron showed the replay of Chavo distracting Daniel Bryan. When Sin Cara saw the replay, he got in Chavo's face, upset with Chavo for interfering in the match. He'd knock Chavo down before leaving.

Layla came to the ring to talk about defeating Michelle McCool and making her leave WWE, and how nobody would miss Michelle. Michael Cole interrupted Layla, and the boo's he got were so loud that I could hardly make out what he was saying. Something about Layla whining about her knee (Layla said she injured her knee in the match), and not being worth anything. Typical Cole stuff. Kharma's music hit and she approached the ring. As Layla tried to get away, Michael Cole tripped her, and Kharma hit her move on Layla. As Michael Cole laughed, Kharma turned her attention to him. He backed away and ran to the Cole-Mine, and Kharma followed, staring him down as he cowered in the Cole-Mine. She eventually left, but not before teasing that she's going to pwn Cole at some point.

Match 2:
Kane def. Wade Barrett via DQ

Wade Barrett came to the ring with The Corre and cut a promo about how Kane is apprehensive about coming to the ring to face him since his tag team partner, Big Show, is in Mexico with the rest of the Raw superstars. Kane came out, and the 2 put on a pretty solid match before Kane got the upper hand and Corre interfered. They began to put a beating on Kane, and as Justin Gabriel got ready to hit the 450 splash, Ezekiel Jackson came out and started wrecking shop on The Corre. Eventually, Corre got the upper hand and Jackson was left laying with a Wasteland followed by the 450 Splash.

Khali came out next, and they had the Khali Kiss-Cam. Then, Jinder whatever his name is came out, stared down Khali, slapped him and left.

Match 3:
Cody Rhodes def. Ted DiBiase Jr.

Cody Rhodes came out and cut a typical Cody Rhodes promo. But this time he said he brought an extra bag for his old friend, and handed a bag to DiBiase. DiBiase threw the bag aside. Rhodes won via pinfall following a Cross-Rhodes.

Match 4:
Christian & Randy Orton def. Sheamus & Mark Henry

The main event was pretty exciting all the way around. Christian and Orton won when Christian hit the Killswitch on Sheamus as Orton simultaneously hit an RKO on Mark Henry. I had predicted a Christian heel turn here, but it didn't happen. The two celebrated together, posing on the top ropes.

Dark Match (?):
Christian, Randy Orton, & Ezekiel Jackson def. The Corre

While Christian and Orton celebrated their win, The Corre came to ring side. Orton and Christian prepared for an attack, but Teddy Long came out and said that's not how we do things around here, and made it a 6 man tag team match for what I can only imagine was the dark match, and announced Ezekiel Jackson as Christian and Randy Orton's partner. Randy Orton would hit the RKO on Heath Slater and pick up the victory. After the match, Randy Orton and Christian would linger around and hang out with fans and sign autographs before finally making their way backstage.

I feel like I might be forgetting a little something, like a promo or something, but overall, I thought it was a good show.

sounds good indeed!

So how was Sin Cara's entrance? Did you see the trampoline and all that?

I was on the opposite end of the ring from the trampoline, the entrance ramp / TitanTron was straight ahead of me. His entrance was badass tho. He didn't botch it from what I could tell. Sin Cara's entire match was the highlight of the night for sure.

Ah so you got the full effect of a guy in a mask flying in your general direction.

Sin Cara:

This was the best pic I was able to get. Camera phone + super excited = not the best picture, but this was my attempt to capture his entrance.

And here's Sin Cara before doing his jump into the ring:

Cool pictures. And I don't blame you as he's my favorite wrestler in the WWE as of right now. So I probably would have been cheering as I took the picture too.

I saw Miz a couple of years back. He was signing autographs with Kelly Kelly, but I stopped watching wrestling at the time and had no idea who he was. I regretted leaving wrestling in the back seat for the past 6 years.

Was it your first time seeing the Miz live?

LOL no Miz wasn't there.

I saw him at Wrestlemania, and I saw him at a Raw back in 2010. Although I wasn't a Mizfit during that Raw.

Don't worry. You didn't miss anything. Unless you're a Cena fan. Although the two HBK and Undertaker WrestleMania matches were amazing.

Best Buy is selling Wrestlemania 27 (blu ray) on sale for 19.99 . Glad I found this out before I headed over to Walmart.

-- Former WWE star Ken Shamrock appeared very sickly and haggard at last Saturday's "Legends of the Ring" convention in Monroe, New Jersey. The reason for this is because he recently came down with MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) while taking care of his son, who had been hospitalized for a week due to the same bacterial infection. For the safety of himself and others, the 47-year-old was asked by doctors to withdraw from his scheduled mixed martial arts fight for World Extreme Fighting last month. He was also placed on antibiotics for several weeks.

A very good step in the right direction in my opinion. They can still learn how to talk on their own time but until then just give them a manager.
