I wish these big corporations didn't feel the need to absorb everything.

Back in 2010, TNA had 12 PPVs a year and 2 million viewers. They never recovered after spending millions of dollars on Hogan & Bischoff.

Dixie also refused to give Heyman full creative control as well as sell the company to Toby Keith with Jim Ross involved a few years ago.

Don't forget their repeated hiring of Vince Russo.

And asking AJ freaking Styles to take a pay cut and losing him to NJPW/ROH, then finally WWE.

Slushy loves Russo. He won't blame him. :funny:

He's not on my sh**list like almost everybody else's in the IWC. Russo was more helpful to TNA than he was to WCW.

That is like judging the smelliest crap. It is still all crap at the end of the day.

Russo being on your list as a good thing is ****!

russo's inflated ego just grew 3 sizes today reading this page
mentioning his name online is the equal of a batsignal in the night sky or a moth to a flame

TNA peaked.

TNA had their moment to push on and instead they made some really bad decisions which ultimately lead to the situation they are now in.

Russo is **** okay...lets move on.
Every word spoken about him is wasted, he isnt worth anybodys time.

TNAs downfall began with Dixie even thinking about competing with the wwe.
They wasted money on Flair, Hogan etc, gave the wrong people too much freedom and drove a sword into TNAs chest.

TNA never really recovered from this decisions.
They should have "rebooted" the whole company, Corgan had some good ideas and in the last couple of months, TNA was actually not bad.
But the Sword still stuck too deep in there.

A part of me hopes that TNA can be saved and that the WWE doesnt buy it.
But the other wants the whole archives of matches etc.

I can see WWE's version of events. "Hey fans, you remember when Sting and The Dudley's disappeared for years, and NO ONE knew what happened to them? Well we've discovered visual proof of their whereabouts during that time."

Well if WWE buys TNA will always have TNA archive to watch on the WWE Network

And maybe there won't be a massive hole in guys like AJ and Sting and Kurt Angle, etc resumes because Vince is so stubborn and petty that he cannot even bring himself to acknowledge their existence.

Eh, it's usually not wise to acknowledge your competition regardless of what industry you are in. Point being, you don't want people knowing there's an alternative.

Ok so I don't want to seem sexist, judgmental or insensitive or anything, but in watching a video comparing the entrances from the females in 2k17 to real entrances, I noticed that they were using a lot of NXT entrances. One that stood out to me was that of Dana Brooke, who seemed a lot thinner and agile as she did flips and stuff.

It has me wondering, did she gain some weight or something? Was she hurt for a while? I don't really follow NXT, so I'm not as familiar with what was happening a year ago, but I was reading comments about her and how she has a great look and could be another Alexa or Trish, but I haven't seen any of that while she's been on Main. Not to mention, her 2k17 model looks completely unflattering, so I'm just wondering what went wrong.

Dana has added some body mass since her debut. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, she's certainly the kind of athlete who is built for power rather than speed.

I'm surprised I'm not seeing the company itself on ShopTNA.
What if they were ....

I guess, I just feel like she looked a lot more impressive, especially considering her background. But now, I'm not too hot on her both inside and out the ring, and its hard for me to see what they can do with her outside of being someone's "bodyguard".

It's hard for someone to standout when they're next to Charlotte Flair all the time. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think of the four NXT horsewomen Charlotte is by far the one who has really made her mark on the main roster. Not only that, I think Charlotte is probably one of the most successful NXT callups of either gender.

I feel sorry for Dana, because I don't see her inevitable face turn against Charlotte doing much for her.

I seem to remember her getting hurt by Asuka and missing some time not long before she was called up too.
