Uhm all the members of the Shield were NXT callups. They've been pretty darn successful.

I said she was "one of" the best callups. Agree with Rollins and Ambrose, but I wouldn't put Roman up there. I like him, but his success is artificial and inflated, and he's clearly not having a good time anymore. It's not like Cena where a large segment of the crowd still likes him, I don't see Roman having ANY following because he's been so misused.

It's hard for someone to standout when they're next to Charlotte Flair all the time. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think of the four NXT horsewomen Charlotte is by far the one who has really made her mark on the main roster. Not only that, I think Charlotte is probably one of the most successful NXT callups of either gender.

I feel sorry for Dana, because I don't see her inevitable face turn against Charlotte doing much for her.
When it comes to Charlotte, sure she's been the most successful, holding the title for about 90% of her run on Main so far. But I can't help but feel how much of that is because she's Flair daughter, and more important, how lacking the Women's division on Raw has been outside of their big three.

Being Flair's daughter helps, but seriously, Charlotte belongs where she is. She just works. She is a good talker, which is really hard to get with a female talent (I like Trish and Lita, but neither of them were really that good on the stick). When she carries around the belt, it just seems "right," which means the woman to take it from her again will benefit from that as well.

Roman was set to be the breakout star of the Shield til Vince decided he needed to be a baby kissing politician instead of the dark brooding Samoan bad ass he was destined to be.

By the way Kevin Owens, pretty darn successful call up too. In my opinion he was the MOST successful call up, because he came up talking about NXT and got a buzz going from main roster only viewers for NXT.

Any news on what's going on with TNA?

Any news on what's going on with TNA?

Today is the last business day for them to save themselves. The clock is ticking.

My flight to Florida is tonight too, ugh.

Some reports that people trying to pre-order the PPV Sunday are finding it unavailable for them.

I'd like to see them merge with RoH. That's the Sinclair group right? I wouldn't be surprised to see Vince absorb them.

Your card for what may be the final TNA PPV if it even takes place:

No Holds Barred Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Title
Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Lashley

Tag Team Championship
Matt Hardy and The Obsolete Mule vs. The Decay

Knockouts Championship
Gail Kim vs. Maria Kanellis

Grand Championship
Aron Rex vs. Drew Galloway (?)

Mike Bennett Vs. Moose

Bound For Gold Match
Eli Drake, Mahabali Shera, Braxton Sutter, Jessie Godderz, Tyrus, Grado, Robbie E, Baron Dax, Rockstar Spud, and Vacant

It’s reached a point where it’s going to have a transformational moment. Whatever’s going to happen this week or this weekend or whatever, is going to for sure — and this is not a wrestling angle — it is definitely going to change the direction of the company forever. Does that mean the company ends, does that mean the company begins a new era? Obviously I am very much on the side and very much invested that the company would continue.

“Having been through this the last three rounds, I still remain very optimistic that come Sunday I will be standing in the ring putting over what’s about to happen. I will be in Orlando come rain or shine. I can’t speak for everybody else at this particular moment, but I will be in Orlando this Sunday.

See I don't find her that great a talker. She says the most generic heel things, and she doesn't even say then in a particularly interesting way. And the fact that she's held that title for the better part of two years now (with only a few weeks in-between) has gotten old imo. I haven't found either of her reigns especially memorable and it's like they're afraid to take it off of her because they don't think that she do well without it.

That's how I feel too, although I believe she's only held the belt for about a year. They mentioned how she was 11-0 in PPV matches for the belt as champion.

But I agree, she's not a great talker, even when she says heelish things, it's very obvious that she's acting. In fact, all of the women sort of overdo it in their promos, and no one really stands out as a natural talker.

Not to mention, I feel like they have no other choice but to keep her with the belt. It's still too soon for Bailey, and Sasha is injury prone, so they may be hesitant there. Nia Jax still doesn't have much on her aside from squashing jobbers, Alicia Fox included, and there's no way they put the belt on Dana Brooke, the walking botchfest. At this point, it feels like their hands are tied, and with Paige most likely needing surgery, and the women's division on Smackdown making stars out of them all, they have no choice but to keep Charlotte as champ.

If WWE history could boast a female version of The Rock, or even The Miz, I'd agree with you, but on a relative basis Charlotte is excelling at something that most female talent really struggle with. She can get the crowd to **** on her by just talking, and even knows when to improvise and respond to the heat she's getting. The only other female talent that I can think of that can work the stick like that is Stephanie McMahon.

You know what, as long as there's some kind of show, even if it's Matt Hardy beating a donkey with a broom handle for three minutes, you can say you were there for the last TNA show ever, which is quite a thing to say.

The only real tragedy is if you go up to the stadium door and there's just a piece of paper taped to it saying, "Event cancelled." That would really suck.

Ambrose never had a match on NXT TV before his call up. He was at the tail end of FCW, when buzz really first started for developmental. Ambrose vs Rollins and Ambrose vs Regal are feuds that really got people's attention.

I've always wanted to go to Bound For Glory so its fitting I'm there for their rumored grand finale.

I was actually supposed to go BFG 4 years ago, their last great PPV IMO, but I couldn't get the day off work for the PPV so I went to Phoenix for the meet and greet roster event and Sting's Hall Of Fame instead.

I still remember before the top brass decided to make Reigns the star and they pushed Dean Ambrose. He was the one with the most mic and promo time, was the US champion, and had a match with the Undertaker on free TV. They should have stuck with that plan instead of shoving Reigns down our throats. They need to turn him heel asap so they can salvage what they can from him.

Cena is actually having most of the crowd cheer for him now so anything is possible.

If TNA folds this weekend, I feel sorry for two people in particular. EC3 and Matt Hardy. EC3 is the best talent TNA has ever had after AJ Styles. He didn't fit in WWE and become the #1 guy in TNA. And of course, Matt Hardy turned the stupidest gimmick ever into one of the most entertaining and over things I've ever seen.

As some of the adverts in the link I saw are not safe to link to SHH, I can't post it here...

...But Jamie Noble was stabbed twice in the back this week. appears he was returning home from a late night shopping run when a bloke got into an argument with him over driving... ended with Jamie taking him to the ground.... which then set off the bloke's mates who attacked him. he's currently in hospital with a stab wound to the upper back and another to the lower back near to his spine. No word on his current condition outside of that he's not in the ER.

That's a damn shame. How are you going to stab someone, let alone someome who didn't pull a weapon on you nor is not even fighting you? Dishonorable s*** right there.

Such a shame and I sure hope he revolvers with no complications

Bound For Glory is moving forward per Dixie on Twitter.

Good news.

Only two hours and change until All Star Extravaganza VIII. Should be a hell of a show.

BFG will be their last show then or somehow they found a way to survive again?
