I can see this character actually working for Fertig if Tazz (there is no more Taz, Taz is dead) didn't seem to sell his character like a big joke. That's what pisses me off with his commentating.

It must suck when you have to sell a top rope move. I mean, imagine laying on your back and seeing someone like Vader moonsault on top of you.

I only remember Christian getting Pounced, I can't remember how he sold it, so I'll take your word for it.
He spun in mid-air and ended up in the ropes. Amazing.

Vader still shocks me everytime I see that. I can't even imagine running into him at full speed let alone have him falling from the sky on you.

Anyone have one of the Pounce only? I'm in the middle of a huge file DL and I don't want to **** it up.

I know. You wouldn't believe how pissed I was when he actually said some lines at Heyman last week. :(

And yeah, Punk is the one in the WWE that I've found excting to watch so far this year. I just can't wait to see where his career goes now that he's in a major promotion and (from the looks of it) receiving a substaintial push.

His voice is way to US for his gimmick and he is startign to slap hands and do regular face gestures....still his work is still as good as it was and Sabu on Free TV and on major PPV's rules:up:

Punk has the chance to work some high profile matches in ECW although i see see him in WWE eventually

Booker vs Batista has been added to Summerslam and rumour has it Sabu vs Show will be as well

Not many other people in all of the WWE at this point in time can cut a promo, and work as good as he can. Save for a few of the vets, who have really just dropped most of their movesets, save for the signature moves. If the rumors are true, I'd like to see some Second City Saints action in ECW, with him and Colt.

The SCS would actually be great in SD's new tag division,Punk is perhaps the best all rounder working today IMO although Joe is still the man:o

I stopped buying Sabu's character after watching the postmatch for Born to be Wired when they cut him and Funk apart.

Still love watch Sabu kick ass though, anytime.

I misread that as CSC for a second there...

Yeah, I'm not complaining too much, ecspecially since the last time Sabu was available on free t.v. he was barely there, and only used as an Undertaker-like special attraction.

Yeah, I think Punk will eventually make his way to the WWE, but it's amazing how well he fits on his current show.

Yeah, I'd love to see them either on SD! or stay in ECW and get a tag division going there.

And yeah, I think best all around worker going today could go to him, but there are alot of other people that could be considered for it. Best in the world is a completely different thing, though, and one I wouldn't mind seeing discussed in here.

Remember when the used to bring him out in a straight jacket and a muzzle ? i still want to see a Sabu vs Taker match:up:

He's made an awesoem start and it's good to see his ROH work is known by a wider set of fans than some imagined

Yeah, but an old school ultra kayfabed entrance like that would never go over with the WWE fans today. :(

And Sabu vs. Taker needs to happen at some point in time before Taker retires or Sabu somehow leaves WWE, or else I'll be severely disappointed.

I can;t think of many as good, maybe Edge and occasionaly Orton are as good as him as a package
Best in the world is tricky, puro is very different to US work,AmDrag is amazing and is really a throwback to oldschool heels,KENTA has a charismatic presence that negates the language barrier and is perhaps my second fav guy in the ring next to Joe,Kobashi isn;t the force he once was and Angle is hit and miss these days,HBK also is not the guy he was and has become formulaic but his promo's and bumping still rule

The 2 guy with the most potential to be best in the world are Aries and Shelley IMO,only thing hurting them as far as a major US career goes is size but that doesn't negate how great they are

Yeah, they arent really into Umaga b/c of his outdated gimmick despite his great work:(

they should have saved the punjabi prison,it is an awe inspiring structure and would have kicked ass with Sabu and Taker in it at WM23

I think that if we were to judge on pure wrestling talent alone, that Dragon would be a serious contender for number one in the biz as far as that category goes.

It would've been alot cooler as Sabu's gimmick match than Khali's. There just needs to be some barbed wire thrown in there and that would be a dream match of mine.

I think that is was good that the pinjabi prison match has already debuted. That, if they do ever do a match with Taker and Sabu, they already have an idea of how the match can work. Now they can build on that and really make the match special with the way Sabu can bump. Even Taker can still take the necessary big bump, so that match could be one of the best this era.

Yeah, as far as all around goes, I'd say it comes down to Punk, Edge, or Orton.

Best in the world, pretty much the names you mentioned. I wouldn't overlook Finlay either. I mean, the guy's 48 and having some of the best matches of his career, and he got the Little Bastard idea to be awesome. Kobashi is still fun to watch, but he's lost alot of what he had. HBK really doesn't even have a moveset anymore.

Of all mentioned, I would have to say the way Dragon wrestles would make him best in the world. I feel Orton's attitude holds him down as well as lack of talented wrestlers to work around.

As mentioned, HBK and Angle have lost their momentum, seemingly becoming stale. Hopefully ECW can save Angle. I'll save my thoughts for Kobashi after seeing a performance post-surgery.

Punk, in the near future, might verywell be the best in the world depending on how he adapts to mainstream programming and what feuds he runs with. It could be hit or miss with the way WWE writes now.
