That one is supposed to take place a couple days before the WWE one I think. The Shane Douglas one might actually be better because it'll probably have former ECW stars who won't even consider showing up for the WWE show (Raven, Steve Corino, Jerry Lynn....).

Plus, Shane Douglas' show probably won't have "WWE presents ECW One Night Only" as it's title

Was there a specially designed Championship belt for the Rock? I remember looking in the WWE magazines and in the ads for replica championship belts, there was one called the Brahma Bull Championship belt.

Was there a real belt like that that just was never used or was it just something they made just for fans to have?
i think it was just for merchandising

Yeah. I would have liked to have seen Kanyon get somewhere in the WWE, but after his injury he just wasn't the same. The sae can be said for Rhyno. He was on his way up before his injury and when he returned he was a regular on Heat. Now he's been released and no more Rhyno. I wonder if they would bring him back for that ECW reunion show that I've read about.
accoreding to what i've read rhyno hasnt been fired yet they'e keeping him off air [ie suspended]

Kanyon was a pretty damn cool wrestler. It's just too bad he never panned out in the WWE. It would be interesting to see him wrestle one or two matches in TNA though, maybe team him back up with DDP again.....

yeah kanyon was a good worker, his Mortis gimmik worked well for a while but when they unmasked him he became a comic character which was a waste IMO

Kanyon was alot like Chrisitan, very talented, just a bit under sized, but fantastic in the ring and on the mic.

Speaking of Kanyon does anyone remeber the gimmik he had when he was pretending to be DDP and diamoncutting everyone ? my favourite was when he was leaving in his car and jumped out at the gate and gave the security guard a cutter totaly stupid but funny. As usual though wcw failed to follow through with him

That was Positively Kanyon wasn't it? ;)

And yeah, I kinda liked that gimmick....even when he did wear that silly blonde wig :o

lol yeah it mightve been positvely kanyon. to be honest wcw changed guys around that much during the last period i have trouble remembering who had what gimmick when:( Saw Cena's first promo as champ and he did well IMO,now wwe needs to book him with Angle and Eddie to bring his ring work up to scratch although im sure a JBL rematch will be first.

I dunno, something about Cena's promo just bugged me. Like him saying that all those people that hated the spinner are "traditionalists like JBL". That alienates a whole lot of the wrestling audience actually. This might actually end up biting the WWE in the ass IMO, especially since this might actually cause a lot of people to start to boo Cena....

Good points,i think he needed to really push that it was about his freedom of expression and how he still respected the buissness.I also think they need to ease up on the "one of the ppl" line as well its getting a bit forced. My point really was that he delivered it well and it felt fresher than his more recent rap style promos that were getting old IMO

That, and get rid of the Chain Gang. That really annoys me

But this is probably how I see the next few months going like this: Cena has one final match against JBL. This finishes up their feud once and for all. This will then lead to a Cena-Angle feud, since Angle is apparently okay to still wrestle (yes!!!!). At this same time, Guerrero and REy continue their feud, with Guerrero playing the heel role finally. This will all lead to a Cena-Guerrero feud by SS with Guerrero (maybe) winning the title by then.

That'll be my dream outcome actually :o :(

The only way I can see Cena's whole thing with traditionalists working is if he turns heel.Just think about it,he takes cheap shots at the fans, and saying they're traditionalists like JBL,or say something like that about them. But there's no way he can stay face and have it work.

Heh,and imagine the belt if he turned heel.It could say something bad about the fans.:D

Yeah the chain Gang Gimmick feels very 80's an Angle/Cena feud would raise his game for sure.As for the Guerro feud that would be cool and Eddie deserves another run IMo.I also get the feeling Randy will move to SD when he returns,he even said as much recently and him and Cena could be a great feud if handled right perhaps after the Eddie run with the belt IF he gets it

I'm so glad Angle's staying. He's WWE's 2nd top heel. And him leaving would take a huge chunk out of Smackdown.:o

That might work then. Honestly, a heel Cena really does work better right now than a face one.

That wouldn't be bad. Or hell, I could even see a Orton-Angle or Orton-Guerrero feud sometime in the future

Hmmm...According to wrestling-edge.com,Orton's been telling people he's going to SD! when he gets back....

Also,Edge is apparently going to Smackdown as well.Probably to get him away from Hardy....

I would rather move Hardy to SD. That way they can keep the gruesome twosome (Edge and Lita) together on Raw. Plus, Hardy can also help to bring a little spice back into the US title division.

I'm sure they don't care that much who changes roster now because all of WWE shows seem to be moving to USA network.

Also, i think that the title push Rey Mysterio is going to get is because the WWE is going to air on Telemundo.

Hahaha. This has got to be the most awesome promo HHH has ever done.:D

This is from the Raw show in Sydney:

''Benoit, Flair and Hunter get big face pops, while Batista gets the 2nd biggest pop of the night. Batista keeps posing until Flair tells him that Hunter will *****slap him if he poses again. Batista poses, Hunter gets on the mic and delivers the best promo of his career:

"Don't you worry, I'm gonna kick his ass soon enough" Hunter points to Batista, and a Guy dressed as Roddy Piper starts taunting Hunter from ringside.

"Each and Everyone of you jackoffs better sit down and shut up and sit down. I will come down there and slap the vegemite (Australian Spread we have on Toast and Bread) right out of your mouth." The Roddy Piper guy gets Hunters attention.

"Like I'm gonna take s*** from a *** in a dress!" Hunter points at Piper.

"Hey..I know 'Hot Rod' is something you want, but sit down and shut up."

Another guy (who is Indian) at ringside begins to taunt Hunter, leading to Hunter calling him 'Ghandi' and speaking gibberish Indian to the guy.

"Hey..Don't think I won't call the government, I know you're on some kind of Terror Watch List somewhere. I'll have your ass digging a hole back in a sand ditch in India somewhere any day now."

The Indian Guy does the Cena 'Can't see Me' gesture, and Hunter says "That's the problem..I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU!"

I think Ortan should go to Smackdown!. His run with Raw is pretty much over. No one cares any more. This heel turn is obviously not working either. He really needs a fresh start. Also I think on a business level Undertaker is really the only thing holding Smackdown! together, but I think for a creative level he is much better suited with Raw. They should jump start another Kane/Undertaker fued for the umteenth time. Those never fail. Or bring in some more dark characters, because watching 'Taker fight just some dude looks & feels kinda cheesey (even by professional wrestling standards). Unlike him fighting the original Mankind (the tortured soul with a mask & burlap sack) which felt kinda dramatic & creepy & was really cool to watch. I like how they used to treat The Undertaker like a being on his own. For instance the Undertaker comic which made him look like a powerful necro-scorcerer. Or this WWF homevideo tape called "The Undertaker: The Phenom" which was for the most part a standard chronicle tape, but they got to Freddy Blassy narrorate it because he had that really smokey omniscient voice & it played out like some biblical journey.

It's kinda funny how some people forget that Orton started on Smackdown.

I remeber that. But because Orton didn't do **** on Smackdown! I don't talk about it. It wasn't his fault entirely though because he was injured. I though the RNN segmant was funny because he was kinda making fun of himself. He knew he was unknown & he used it to become a great heel by annoying them with the recovery results of someone they didn't know.
