Thank you Rider and Fallen Angel.

who all do you guys think would even be worth bringing in to mess with hbk? all i could really think of would be marty jannety and maybe psycho sid

I'd just book HBK vs. RVD at Wrestlemania instead of this Vince McMahon BS.

Yep,he wins most of his matches with it,ive never seen him beat anyone with the Go To Sleep even though it is listed as his main move

While that would be a fun match it wouldn't work in context of the angle or for RVD's push since HBK will win at WM22

Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham was pronounced dead on arrival at an Atlanta area hospital this morning.

The only available details were he was at a friend's house in Peachtree City, GA, and was gasping for air and rushed to the hospital. The preliminary diagnosis from the hospital is that it was said to have to do with complications from sleep apnea.

Grunge and the late Rocco Rock (Ted Petty), as the tag team of Public Enemy, were the first major stars created by ECW in a program against The Funk Brothers. They became ECW's most popular act, to the point they were subject to a bidding war of sorts between WCW and WWF. However, taken out of the ECW environment, they weren't as successful.

Grunge, whose age is believed to be 39, was said by friends to have never been the same since Petty's death.

-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the feeling backstage is that Rey Mysterio is more over with fans and would make a better challenger for the title than Randy Orton

that's not what i want to come home & read

I am so tired of seeing all the boys die young. Unfortunately, I can't even say I'm shocked anymore. This whole 'phenomenon' is just sad.

RIP, J. Grunge.

CM Punk continues to be the most newsworthy member of the Ohio Valley Wrestling roster as PWInsider reports that he's receiving heat from fellow wrestlers for working the Ring Of Honor show this weekend.

Punk's backstage attitude has already been met with disapproval from his colleagues, and his decision to work an indy event this past weekend, albeit with WWE management's blessing, did nothing to make him more endearing.

The wrestler's frequent appearances in the news serve as a double-edged sword. On the one hand, he is on the radar to a much greater extent than the typical OVW wrestler. On the other hand, it is not as if the majority of the press is favorable.

One source says that there was an idea floating around that would have seen Punk called up as a tag team partner for Matt Hardy, but creative nixed that idea.

In a bit of interesting related news, the word going around Ring Of Honor circles is that the indy promotion actually offered CM Punk a deal prior to his signing with WWE that would have seen him make far more than he gets from OVW.

:( That is just too sad.

I kind of like the prospect of a Hardy/Punk pairing. And it could've fit with what's happening with Hardy at the moment....

Who do you guys think will win between RVD, Show, and HHH?

I'm for RVD.

HHH.

I just want to see HHH bury Cena. Because if HHH loses next Monday, only to have Show or RVD win, they'll be made to look weak to Cena and they'll become fodder to the unstoppable Cena machine.

So it'll be Cena vs. HHH at WM and it'll be a pleasure watching the fans boo Cena out of the building.

I love RVD, I may be one of the biggest ECW marks. While I would love to see him go for and win the title, & eventually i think he will. It's just not going to be now. As big as bull**** as it is, it's WWE.

btw I pick HHH.

I'm thinking H is gonna pin RVD, especially if that rumor about the two of them from a couple weeks back is true.
