I like FYE. Get most of my WWE stuff there, on sale. Hell, picked up the Bret Hart dvd for 12.99 about 2 months after it was released.

You sure it wasn't a used copy? I saw it there on Friday night and it was 28.99 plus tax. Those kind of prices are why people upload the videos on Youtube.

Here is a cool match with Muta and Liger during their early NJPW days.

Anyone see Batista's ring entrance for the new game? Holy crap, it's awesome.

I know the difference between new and used. It was new.

I'm glad Road Dogg and Gunn did ripped HHH in an interview...

Vince and Stephanie McMahon have decided to go "full stream" with D-X, and despite complaints that D-X has run its course, WWE has no plans to drop it. Regarding new members, believe it or not, McMahon was interested in bringing back the Road Dogg and Billy Gunn earlier this summer. McMahon and Triple H hadn't heard the interviews where the TNA duo ripped Triple H, and when McMahon and Triple H found out about it, they decided not to pursue the New Age Outlaws. Triple H had been in favor of bringing back James and Gunn, but when Triple H found out what had been said, he stated that he'd punch out Gunn if he ever saw him again.

That shoot interview is very old and Vince/Triple H are just NOW finding out about this? Have they been hiding under a rock for a full year?

I don't watch WWE anymore, but I'd be willing to bet anything that Vince will end up hiring Road Dogg and Billy back sometime soon or in the near future.

From my perspective I see neither H nor Billy doing anything to each other if they happened to cross paths. I remember H did some serious **** talking on Goldberg once, and when Goldberg confronted him at a fan signing, H backed down like a little child and downplayed the entire incident.

Sometimes I think a lot of this **** talking is nothing more than barking without the bite.

Trips and Vince found out about this around July.

Enterthemadness is just now reporting something that we all reported months ago.

Also, I'm not buying that Goldberg story. Goldberg used to talk like he was tough ****, and Jericho made him pass out in a submission hold, shoot style. And I'm pretty sure Triple H wouldn't want to make a scene at fan signing.

Fair enough. It's just a 12.99 Bret Hart DVD is a dream come true. :yay:

Thus my purchasing it. I hadn't planned on getting yet, but that was too good to pass on.

The link doesn't work, but I remember when the shoot clips were posted in this forum a while back. They constantly rediculed his facial hair as if it was something important to discuss. Doesn't seem like a shoot I'd be interested in, even through RF has done some good ones in the last 7 years.

That whole incident just made Goldberg look like a bigger fool anyways.....

Cyber Sunday might be worth checking out.

- During this week's SmackDown!, a local commercial aired for the upcoming Cyber Sunday PPV. The commercial advertised that for the first time ever, we will see the champions of all 3 brands in the ring at the same time as John Cena, Big Show, and King Booker will battle it out in a Triple Threat match at the PPV.

With commercials airing featuring Heavyweight Champion Booker T defending his title as late as November 5th, it seems unlikely that he'll be dropping the belt at this weekend's No Mercy PPV.

- Since William Jason Reso (Christian Cage) never responded or filed for a time extension to claims from World Wrestling Entertainment over the "Captain Charisma" name, the USPTO website is reporting that a "notice of default" has been entered against Reso and that he has thirty days (from October 6th) to give a reason why the notice should not be entered. With regard to the name, it was created while Christian was working for WWE, and therefore became the intellectual property of the company due to the terms of contract that he had.

Most Extreme Player for 10/4/06
By Joey Styles
October 4, 2006

Before I get to this week's MEP, I would first like to share with you ECW fans the nightmare of a flight I had from New York to Kansas City for this week's ECW on Sci Fi show.

You see, despite knowing my broadcast colleague, Tazz, for over 13 years (now I know why that number is unlucky), this was the first time that I had ever sat next to him on an airplane (this is where Tazz makes a joke during Shootin' with Tazz about him flying in first class and me flying in coach because he has more frequent flier miles...because he wrestled and I didn't...because he has been on the road and I haven't..."beat me if you can"...blah, blah, blah).

Anyway, we are on Midwest which is all first class, so Tazz and I are seated next to each other in an exit row (as tall as we are, we really need the extra leg room). Tazz proceeds to complain about the seats, the footrests, the windowshades, the back of the seat in front of him and, most of all, the fact that he has to sit next to me!

Just wait...it gets better. The most miserable man on the planet then gets so worked up that he loudly insults the ethnicity of everyone on the aircraft including our own (Italian, for those of you who care). To cap off this nightmare, when the poor flight attendant comes over to ask Tazz to stow his man-purse under the seat in front of him, Tazz accuses her of staring at his feet and having a foot fetish!

The worst part about this story? ...THE PLANE HAS NOT EVEN TAKEN OFF YET!

Last week, there were questions about whether or not Dallas Cowboy and Prima Donna, Terrell Owens had taken his own life. All the EMTs had to do is ask Owens one question, "Have you spent any time with Tazz?" If the answer was affirmative, then I would wager that Owens was indeed trying to take the dirt nap. I myself tried to strangle myself with my memory foam travel pillow but, to no avail, woke up on the runway in Kansas with Tazz complaining about the fact that it was 95 degress in October. Tazz showed me a camera phone photo of my failed, half-hearted suicide attempt and yelled at me for not even being able to kill myself as well as he could have done himself in if he wanted to.

Just to steal his thunder, Tazz will no doubt counter this column during his Shootin' with Tazz audio commentary (he's too lazy to actually write a column) by blaming me for Mapquest's shortcomings (MAPQUEST SUCKS!) and accusing me of talking the entire time we were together. The truth is, because we are both old school, I have less experience, and thus, do all the driving and he has more experience, and thus, does all the talking (berating actually).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...this week's MEP is Rob Van Dam.

Ecspecially since we're supposed to be able to vote for the content of the matches.I'm guessing that the participants are set in stone, and we're left to vote on a stipulation of some sort.

Doesn't seem an odd idea when you consider the Survivor Series poster. The Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday PPV last year played a big part in the buildup to Survivor Series. I'm thinking that Survivor Series buildup might start later this month, in fact.

I think this will setup the three way survivor series match. Although it is a bit when you look at it at first, you have to feel good knowing ECW will be on three different PPVs this year, 2 collaborative PPVs and their own one. It's a good sign. Will be interesting to see how many ECW wrestlers will actually have spots in the Royal Rumble match next year.

I wonder how they will work it to keep all brands looking strong for the Survivor Series
It's not a bad idea for an ME i just hope Cena isn't put over the other 2 champs as superior
