To seperate both shows as two different brands. Anyway the explanation that was given for raw to have it's own champion was because then wwe champion lesner wanted to be exclusive to smackdown only. If tna becomes popular as the wwe the brands will be joined.

Excellent point about TNA become hugely successful, I think it would put enough fear into Vince to throw the brands back together

The whole John Cena vs JBL storyline is just not doing it for me. It is a complete rehash and rip of the old Stone Cold vs Vince McMahon promo's and stuff they used to do.

I was thinking the other day about the tag team division in the WWE and what they should do to improve it, let me know what you guys think.

Both Raw and Smackdown combined have like 6 true tag teams:
1. La Resistance
2. The Dudley Boys (when they get back)
3. The Basham Brothers
4. William Regal & Tajiri- champions
5. Rey Mysterio & Eddie Guerro- champions
6. Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas (recently)

Now that is it for true tag teams, I don't really count other teams that are thrown together for a night, that is stupid. And what is just as stupid is having two tag team title belts. What I think they should do is drop to one tag team champion and have whoever the champions are fight on both shows, building up the tag team division and really bringing interest to it again.

Too much crossover then. I think the WWE wants to maintain that both shows are separate except for about four or five special occasions. And I don't really mind that because then the time when the two rosters do get together it makes it more kickass.

And to be honest, when has the WWE(F) ever had a strong tag team division? It seems like since forever, they've really only had about three strong tag teams at a time and that was about it.

However, it would kickass if they decide to rejoin Jannetty and Michaels again and have them feud with Edge/Christian :o

They were taken off tv to reduce their exposure shortly before Survivor Series. They were supposed to come back before WM but apparently that's not happening

to reduce their exposure? it sounds like they were too hot for TV or something

No, it's just that people got tired of them I guess. Plus, they're schtick was getting a bit overused. So the WWE figured that they take them off tv for a while they could come back rejuvenated.....

I hear you about The Dudley's. The D-Von get the tables was a bit too much, and too predictable. Hopefully they can come back strong in a few month's.

The last time I think I can remember the tag team division being strong in the WWE would be in the late 80's eary 90's

Actually the early part of 2000 through 2002 where the tag team scene was good with great teams like the dudleys, edge and christian and the hardys. Since then the tag team divisions have been stale . The last great team to be disasembled has been hass and benjamin.

i thought that the dudleys had been released or were on the injured list

Nah, the WWE would probably never do that. The Dudleys are too over for them to be outright released. Plus, they need to be around for the ECW reunion show.

What matches hold the most interest for Wrestlemania 21?

Personally it is a very boring and blah WM this year, not enough excitement.

But I am looking forward to that Sumo Match with The Big Show vs Akobono and Shawn Micheals vs HBK. Other than that the other matches are pretty predictable, and so so....

The 6-way ladder match sounds interesting. But that's because the majority of the talented wrestlers on Raw are in one match and that sounds enticing enough. Angle vs. HBK is definitely a must-see. Hell, anything with Angle is a must-see. And it seems like both title matches are pretty blah now. The Batista-Triple H one was interesting enough until they turned Batista face, then it kinda lost momentum. The Cena-JBL one just doesn't seem to capture my interest. I would've much preferred a Cena-Angle one.....but that would've meant no match with HBK :(

Angle vs. HBK,6 way ladder, and HHH vs. Batista seem like they'r egonna be awesome.

As matches like Orton vs. Taker.I'm juts meh on it.Two wrestlers who don't know how to sell moves or put people over. It's really just a toss up. And Big Show vs Akebono is probably going to be interesting for the first minute and a half.

Oh,and don't get me started on that stupid JBL vs Cena match. The feud is nothing more than crap. JBL pisses off Cena,Cena comes to Smackdown all pissy and insane and destroying everything in his path yadda yadda yadda.I'm so fed up with face Cena.I really hope he turns heel after WM. Because when he's face he's just too much to handle.

Anybody see that debate last Thursday? Damn, some debate.Cena just did some watered down, already done before bull.

I've been fed up with Cena for a while. I don't know if he should turn back into a heel, but he should definitely get back the intensity he had as a heel, if anything. And I swear, if he becomes the champion and makes another spinner.....

I would drop Smackdown all together if he made another spinner. Why the U.S. one sold so well at the WWE Shopzone is beyond me. I hate when wrestlers do that to titles,it really is pretty disgraceful.:o

did anyone see the dawn marie michell mccool match on smackdown now thats the kind of womens wrestling i like to see
as to 'mania i think they missed an ad parody they could have parodied kill bill with lilian garcia in the uma thurman role think about it the one woman in the wwe LEAST likely to wrestle playing the kill billcharacter MOST likely to finish someone off

Dose anyone here watch it.....I do.
I used to watch when new blood like Razor Ramón, Adam bombs or Zeus etc... Was on the air some of these guys have the perfect physique to portray superhero characters in movies etc…
Razor Ramón could’ve easily run for superman, Adam bombs was awesome even though I haven’t seem a lot of him I won’t forgot his look , and Zeus was terrific ,but at some point I didn’t like seeing him acting kind of dumb and let macho randy savage man dictate him like that .
One of my top favorite wrestlers was Shawn Michael
Because unlike the others he seems real and was living the way he was talking

Characters like Ultimate warrior or the undertaker seem a little too fake for me
Even though I love superhero comic book characters, it seems a little bit extreme when ones trying to talked and act like them in the real world.

Ultimate warrior seems he was reading his test from his hand when he was invoking his gods

I love to hate guys like Greg the hammer valentine a lot when I was a kid and he was doing a good Job at that
I remembered playboy body rose , (whom I love to hate as well ) took over the identity of the undertaker now (I think)
Hulk’ Hogan’s brother Brutus beef cake was awesome too
Jimmy fly Snuka was very impressive

Anyway nowadays too much talking...Not that I don’t like it, but I just don’t have time for wrestling anymore.

I like it when the heal does something to the belt like when Lance Storm covered up the US flag with the Canadian flag on the US title cause it makes it seem like the good guy is also fighting to restore the belt's honor. I didn't mind what Cena done cause it made the title seem special to him but I also could have done without it. I don't think it should be done to the world title though.

I'm sure you can tell I like wrestling by my username, but it's not as good as it use to be since Rock, Austin, and Foley leaving

but Austin is comming back and I'm sure we'll see Foley again

Is it me or is the card for WM 21 sorta small? There's only like 5 or 6 matches.

theres 8, yeah it's kinda small for a WM card

but I'm expecting them to throw in some last minute no build up matches like a match for the tag titles and a match for the US title

HHH vs Batista
JBL vs Cena
Angle vs HBK
Taker vs Orton
Ladder Match
Piper's Pit
Sumo Match
Trish/Christy
Eddie/Rey
Hall of Famers

The match for the tag team titles would have to come from the RAW brand perhaps Regal and Tajiri vs La Resistance for like the 18th million time

And maybe Orlando Jordan vs Mark Jindrak for the US Title
