No offense to anyone,but I can't see why people are saying Cena deserved the belt.As hunter rider said,it's popularity over everything else with him.I heard the match was pretty short.And from what I read about what happened in the match,sounds like they made JBL look like a weakling.It took Cena,what,ten minutes?

The only way I'll be happy with him as champ is if he turns heel.Which is probably going to happen considering his new music,which just screams heel.

I definalty watch wrestlin. Not so much smackdown right now it is bothering me, but perhaps Cena can pull me in.

I was pissed they did not give Batista any mic time last night the guy just wont eh championship for christs sakes.

It will be interesting to see where this championship run goes, on a positive note he seemed to still be the animal, he almost wasn't a face last night so much as he was a heel.

I think the crowd actualy felt bad for Orton at the end cause Batista just wrecked him

I doubt he's back on a full time basis. Maybe an appearance here and there but nothing permanent. Wrestling will never be as good as the days of Austin VS McMahon.

Hogan brought wrestling to mainstream and Austin took it to a whole new level. Hogan created the 'classic' era of wrestling and Austin created the 'attitude' era....that's how I see it.

Looks WWE are gonna let there imaginations run wild with Cena/JBL(yawn) and HHH/Batista title rematches at the respective4 next SD and Raw brand PPV's *sigh*

I realy felt much the same way I am shocked the way they handled things regarding the fact of how Popular batista was going into mainia, and while his mic work isn't increadible, he could have said a few words.

When HHH came out he should have made his pressence felt.

He should have come out and said

HHH, you treat this buisness, these fans like they owe you something, And like this title is your property...


Well I beat you at Mainia 1, 2, 3, and I proved to you I don't owe you anything, and neither do these fans nor this ring...

I've felt like that for a while before the PPV. I'm happy to have the belt off of HHH, but sad, 'cause he'll have it back soon. This does nothing but up his number of title reigns. He wants to be Flair so bad. It's pathetic. Cena is good, but overrated. I think JBL has had the belt long enough now. I'm just glad Undertaker didn't get it.

I don't understand why EVERYONE think Batista will only have the belt for a month or two they gave him an increadible build up to Mainia, made him look spectackular agaisnt HHH and basicly went ary from the formula where the face has to get beaten up before Mainia if he is to win.


I think IF and that is big if because of Edges shot, HHH goes to the PPV to try and beat Batista he will lose, Batista should get a good solid run as champ unless something goes terribly ary.

I would not rule out a tripple threat at the next PPV 2 out of 3 falls.

Seeing SCSA last night on RAW stun both Maven and Simon Dean was great, that entire skit was FUNNY! The best part when Simon Dean had his protein shake in his hand and Maven bumped it and it spilled all over Austin, Simon & Maven's facial expression were priceless...It's great seeing The Rattlesnake back in the ring

Batista destroying Orton was great! And I really hope that Christian gets a HUGE push, the guy is one of the most underrated wrestlers in all of wrestling, and needs to be spotlighted more.

I am one that thinks it is way too early for John Cena to have a world title. I think JBL was just hitting his stride and should have been allowed to hold onto the title until atleast Summer-Slam and then have a world title change, make Cena chase JBL around and really earn it. IMO It was a big time mistake for Cena to win the title.

I was happy to see HHH lose the world title to Batista at WM21, which he did last year as well losing the world title to Chris Benoit. As much as we all ***** and complain about HHH, atleast he drops the strap on the biggest stage of them all. I just hope to hell he doesn't break Ric Flair's record of world title belts reigns. If he does that is just wrong. Because if HHH wasn't married to the bosses daughter I don't think HHH would have even five world title reigns.

At the moment, yeah. It's just up to Cena and Batista respectively to do something with the opportunity that was given to them. Look at JBL. I was a bit pissed when he first beat Guerrero for the title. But he slowly grew on me, now I see him as a (sort-of) legitimate champion.

But those rematches are kinda annoying. Wrestlemania is supposed to be an event where the major feuds end and right after that show is the start of new feuds, particularly for the championship title. I mean right now is a perfect opportunity to push Edge to the main event, slowly build up a feud between him and Batista. But nooo, we're just back to Batista vs. Triple H again.

Yes and no. I think Batista is great as champ simply because of the whole "animal" angle he's got going for him. It's nice to see a champ that can simply destroy his opponents (like he did with Orton) rather than get his ass kicked only to come back ontop....that's the angle that Austin created, they need a new one.

I actually liked Benoit as champ and I felt he was totally raped of a long title run. If anyone in the WWE deserves the title it's sure as hell him, look at the performance he put on at WM and that wasn't for any belt...it just shows you the dedication.

I would also like to see another Jericho title run but due to his size I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon. At least he's secured his spot in history as the first Undisputed Champion...no one can take that from him.

Edge has pretty much screwed himself out of any push that he was in line for with the whole Matt/Lita thing. I heard the the WWE looks down on mixing business with pleasure, especially when it's behind a fellow worker's back....not to mention he's a complete scumbag for doing it.

I REALLY hope HHH takes a break from the title run for awhile. It seems like he's always got the belt and it's nothing but a game of who can take it from him...he's headlined how many Wrestlemania's?? at least the last 3. I actually wouldn't mine seeing the Orton/Batista angle develop into a feud for the title. Orton could continue the "I was the future of Evolution" thing feeling like he was the rightful person to take that belt off of HHH, not Batista. Guys like Orton and Batista are the future of wrestling, and if the WWE ever wants to see the future they'd better start making new storylines with new characters rather than having a game of "keep away" with the title from HHH....it's getting REALLY old now.

Oh and one more thing.....bring back AUSTIN! NO ONE can do it like the Rattlesnake, he made wrestling what it is today.

yeah i was thinking it'll be summerslam before Edge gets his shot,i was suprised they had Benoit beat him especially with the one arm angle,I'm expecting a feud between the 2 for a couple of months to get Edge ready for Batista.As for there runs as champion i think if Batista has the right opponents he can be a decent champ nut Cena just doesnt convince me and the SD roster apart from angle doesn't IMO have the talent to really bring more out of him.Somewhere though wwe have to start pushing shelton and get Orton back on track,his lame-ass job to batista just devalued him more,This break for his shoulder surgery is pronbably a good thing for him
