I disagree, I think Austin was leaps and bounds better than the Rock when it came to the ring skills. I'll give credit where credit is due.. The Rock is amazing at cutting brilliant promo's and he most certainly did come off just as his moniker described him, "electrifying". But but but, Austin did revolutionize wrestling as someone here said, he made it what it is today. Plus, nobody can tell me Austin is a so-so wrestler after seeing his match on Raw with Chris Benoit a few years ago. Benoit came out challenging anybody from the back to a 'wrestling match'.. a type of match Benoit felt was not being used often. Austin accepted and I think gave the performance of his life. He showed he could truely go toe to toe with probably one the worlds greatest technical wrestlers. Rock.. well, I haven't really seen that much of an outstanding performance from him. He is definitely what you call mediocre. I have absolutely nothing to say to that 'Hogan being good in the ring' remark. Hogan is a mess in the ring. Probably has one of the worst mat skills I have ever seen. He's an amazing entertainer but great wrestler he is not.

:D

Rhyno Released by WWE

Source: W365

-- After being sent back to his hotel room and then being told he was not required for RAW on Monday, it is coming to us now breaking that Rhyno was told by WWE that due to the incident during the WrestleMania 21st after show party he is being let go by the company.

-- Many are hoping that cooler heads will prevail, but as it stands release papers were supposedly signed. More on this as it comes.

WWE had booked them in the hotel, he was representing the company's image at the moment. Also, the incident took place in front of people at hotel lobby.

on another topic.....wrestling has way to much talking now and not enough wrestling.....

as kurt angle would say
"ITS TRUE ITS DAMN TRUE"

maybe now Rhyno can show up on the other ECW reunion show.

i liked Rhyno. To me, he brought a different kind of extreme to the WWE

Former ECW Television champion Super Crazy has signed a three year contract with WWE last week, according to an article in a newspaper in Mexico.

We had mentioned interest from WWE back in January over Super Crazy. He had been pursued by the company for some time dating back to a tour in Japan where he raised some eyebrows.

You can definitely count him in for the ECW One Night Stand show in June, and beyond that, he'll remain on the roster as a regular Superstar.

That kinda sucks :(

Rhyno could've easily been a monster heel for the Raw side, but it seems like he was always pushed to Heat.

Now it kinda seems like the ECW One Night Only PPV is not gonna have that many former ECW stars  :(

hmm...interesting. Hopefully, this might mean that the WWE is serious about the Cruiserweight division, now that they have him, Psychosis, and Juventud signed. I mean if they could just market that division right, that division could be one of the hilights of Smackdown instead of always being on Velocity....

i agree SD is fairly weak IMO and the cruiserweights bring something different to the table,They should be a major match on every Sd PPV

Rhyno Update

Source: Dave Meltzer

Despite reports, Rhyno has not been released from the WWE. He has been taken off the road stemming due to bad behavior after WrestleMania on Sunday. It is completely possible he could be released at some point at the moment no final decision has been made regarding his future.

I hope they don't release him. Or if they do, don't do it until after the ECW PPV because the WWE really does need more ECW stars for that show....:o

That's true to an extent. Without promos and "talking" the feuds wouldn't be as strong as they are. I don't mind if a good promo is cut by someone who knows how to do it, but it used to drive me crazy when people like The Rock would take 15min and do nothing but spew out catchphrases and rant about nothing.

You need "talking" in wrestling, sometimes that can be better than the actual match.

I wish they'd put past Wrestlemania's on DVD, not just "best of". I would also kill for DVD's of RAW to come out. They could do something like "RAW 95-96, 96-97...etc" they'd make a KILLING with something like that. There are so many good RAW moments that you'll never see again unless you've got them on tape or happen to find them on some "best of" DVD they release.

I'm pretty sure they might show those "best of" raw moments when WWE 24/7 comes on...unless it's already on

But I really wouldn't mind if they released all the WM's on dvd. It's a shame they haven't done it yet....

hahahah....did anybody else hear about the near riot that the Ultimate Warrior caused because of some stuff he said in his speech at UConn? :D

That guy is one huge looney.....

Anybody here have WWE 24/7, is it really every ep of raw and smackdown, or just highlights?
