This match is officially dead.

*Switching to NBA Finals*

Holy **** that was one hell of an angle on that Frog Splash.

ECW tonight = Crap, for the second week in a row.
Same ass thing, too.

Kelly stupid crap, Sandman beating the hell out of some random person, WWE vs. ECW, etc.

:(

this week's show was definitely better than the first episode, but that's not saying much. i see plenty of room for improvement once the the wwe takes away their training wheels and lets hope that happens soon.

Some thoughts after reading the last few pages and watching the show:

-I have no problem doing Vengeance results. I don't credit Gerweck anyway, he can suck it.
-It wasn't Justin from the F.B.I., his name is Tony Mamaluke, just to clarify.
-They need to get away from this damn crowd, ASAP.
-Main Event was great. I hope Randy's arm is ok. Looked bad.

Just to note, that was Terkay, according to Gerweck (who
jobbed to Matt Hardy
in a SD! dark match).

I actually enjoyed tonight's ECW show since I focused on the matches.

Dreamer getting squashed by Show made sense since it was a straight beating, not a match, and it set up a probable feud between the two with how the segment ended with Dreamer "smiling", as if this was his way of "testing" Show's extreme qualities. Hopefully in the end Dreamer will go over Show in a final confrontation.

Entertaining match between Sabu and Mamaluke. Mamaluke looked decent in the match. Just hate Sabu's entrance to the ring.

Macho Libre is obviously the Extreme Player of the Week. He epitimizes what is Sports Entertainment. Next week I hope we get to see the Nacho Madness himself! Sandman caning the **** out of Sports Entertainment rejects is funny these first 2 weeks, but it can't go on for too long.

Kelly is not Kimona Wanaleia (or however it was spelled). Kimona knew how to striptease the crowd (wish I had a copy of that best of ECW Vol. 1 now). Kelly still has a lot to learn.

Main event had more of a WWE feel than an ECW feel in the way it was booked. Not taking away from the match, but could have been better.

Overall, glad I woke up for this this time around, unlike last time.

I read that WWF Monday Night Raw was originally held in the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom, not the Hammerstein Ballroom, while other sources say vice versa. Ring of Honor has recently signed a deal with the Manhattan Center to hold all future NYC Ring of Honor shows in the Grand Ballroom. Looking at some older footage, the area looks more like the Grand Ballroom and not the Hammerstien.

ECW debuted at the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom in August on 2000 (I was at night two, *****es). It is a great place to go for wrestling, too, if you are close enough, or in the balcony.

You're usually asleep this time of night?

I crashed for an hour or so during the Yankee game trying to rest my back. I hurt it not on Saturday, but yesterday bring up groceries. Just dozed off. Thankfully I woke for the show.

I usually don't go to sleep till 4 AM working on art, but since I'm struggling to draw I've been sleeping much earlier.

Who won the Yanks game btw? I left the sports bar in the 4th inning.

Yanks came back and won 9 - 7.

I hate Detroit right now.

June 18th: One of the most insane things in ROH history happened last Saturday in NYC. BJ Whitmer gave Jimmy Jacobs a powerbomb from the top rope over the cornerpost, over the guardrail and into the crowd. Yes, it is as insane as it sounds. Neither man was able to continue after this incredible move and the match was ruled a no contest. The winner of this match was supposed to wrestle ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson this Friday in Detroit. ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette has ruled that since both men put their bodies on the line for the ROH fans and for a ROH World Title shot that they will both get the title shot. This Friday in Detroit will see Bryan Danielson vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Jimmy Jacobs with Lacey in a World Title Elimination Match. If Whitmer and Jacobs put their bodies on the line like that in NYC, can you imagine what they'll do with the World Title on the line in Detroit on Friday!!!

That should be a fun one.

And I'm tired of all HHH beer commercials.

Awesome. A good ol' Three Way Dance for the title.

Agreed. Should be a spectacular match. Haven't seen a real 3 Way Dance in a LONG time. Hopefully Danielson will retain though, so he can defend against Joe on August 5th. Or lose it the night before in LI on the 4th.

Who is KENTA fighting that evening again? Aries or Strong?
