Hell sometimes they would play the themes throughout whole matches (and not just New Jacks, there was that one with Sandman and Raven where Free Bird and Man in the Box played basically the whole match) so that the matches were kind of music videos as well.

I made a mistake when I put music there. I meant the stupid crap that they do at the beginning, with the highlights and the all that bull**** that we have to sit through during RAW and SD!, like when the screen changes colors and voices get all slow mo and that. That's not ECW.

Back when ECW was on TNN, I think Heyman was saying that TNN told him to up the production values for the show. And they were forced to do that. So maybe, even a Heyman-run ECW would've had all that stuff eventually
