WW84 vs Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is better, in some cases morally and, in my opinion, others technically. But do I enjoy it as much and care as much about the story and the characters and think the characters are as strongly constructed, as Wonder Woman 1984? No.

Captain Marvel is easily the stronger of the two films as even it's got some issues, it's got much better logic than much of WW84.

Captain Marvel is leaps and bounds ahead of WW84, which was a mess.

I borderline despise Capt Marvel but its the better movie, just structurally and narratively. I don't know what happened with WW84, I'm still baffled by it 6 months later how the same creative team that gave us the rock solid first WW movie delivered...that.

Its by no means the worst movie in the world, it has some charms and good parts to it but it was crushingly disappointing. IMO.
