Thread for the next installment of the WWE Games series for the Next-Gen consoles.

Chris Hero/Kassius Ohno is reportedly doing motion capture work for the game, but denied him actually appearing as a playable character in the game.

I'm not much of a gamer and don't really follow gaming, but here's a thread title suggestion:

WWE 2K15 on Next-Gen: the WWE, with better booking

It's funny how we talk about how the WWE keeps bringing back old guys because that's exactly what they've done with the last two games. Their main hook has been revisiting the past, as opposed to creating something new with the current guys.

There's a difference between playing as legends in their prime than many of them coming in as a focal point in 2014,I like Batista but don't want him headlining WM 30 for the title.

For 2K15 I would love WWE network's theme of past present and future,Having icons&legends from ECW/NWA/WCW&WWF history while having some focus on the future as well by including an NXT roster

I want full career mode where your CAW starts as a NXT rookie then works his/her way up to WM.

I'm not saying I hated revisiting those eras. As a fan I loved them. But at the same time, I think its very telling how even in video games, they're promoted the guys from before more than they are the current stars. It makes sense within the context of the game, but I think for this year's game the focus should be back on who's there now, especially since I don't know how they could top the roster from 2K14 in terms of nostalgia.

Let's talk about next-gen console features that can expand the gaming experience,I don't know much about XBO's features but for PS4..

Live Streaming-We could do matches or do stuff in any mode as we live stream to friends and random strangers

Share Button-Can take photos or videos of something like our created characters and share to friends/facebook&twitter then save them to post them on here

Virtual Player Control-There will be a feature where one of our friends can virtually control our controller,IF we have a problem with something then we can get someone to help us out

Business wise it makes sense and makes way more money to have big legends on the roster,They can easily top 2K14's roster since that was just WM focused and so there's tons of potential to go with history in general

I wouldn't mind a WCW-theme history/story mode.

But that's just it. They shouldn't need to rely on history because by doing so, they're basically admitting that what's going on today is not good enough and it ties into the real life idea that there is no confidence or faith in the current guys. It's okay to have Legends there, but the last couple of games have pretty much had half the roster spots filled up by Legends.

For me, 2k14 was what Legends of Wrestlemania was supposed to be. That was a decent game, but the problem with it was that it was released in between two SvR games, but was overly simplistic and repetitive and didn't even feel like the Smackdown games. But 2K14 fixed that even though that mode was pretty much the same idea. But I don't think you can get any bigger than Wrestlemania.

I think the best way they could have done this would have been as a History of the Monday Night Wars, but that was sort of the reasoning behind the Attitude Era Mode in WWE 13.

I guess we'll see what happens,No point in talking about the theme since we have no info on the game at all yet until probably E3 as usual

I love universe and so I hope it stays

you can still have universe mode and even a historical/story mode.

but it's time they added back in a full, dedicated career mode.

Game info won't be out till around E3 time in June and roster won't be revealed until Summerslam Axxess in August..Unless they change marketing ways this year But the roster cut off date is always WM with some exceptions/DLC by Extreme Rules,The current roster going into WM already has great potential for the game..

The Wyatt Family
Corporate Kane
Wolverine CM Punk
Batista
Brock
Possibly Sting
The Matadores
Curtis Axel
The Usos(their current push may help them this year)
Goldust
Possibly New Age Outlaws

True but how would a career mode be all that better?,Did you actually enjoy the Road to Wrestlemania career modes?,The one in SvR09 or 10 with the grinding for caw attribute points was so frustrating and plain bad,I doubt there will be an awesome career mode like Here Comes The Pain/Days of Reckoning 1&2 and Raw 2 again

like I've said.

have your CAW start as a NXT rookie who works his/her way up to WM.

would be a good way to showcase NXT and their training facility.

Would be awesome IF we face NXT guys like Sami Zayne/Bo Dallas/Accession/Xavier Woods and Alexander Rusev in NXT shows before showing up on Smackdown,We can build ourselves up till the Rumble where If we win then we go on to headline WM and if we lose then have some big mid card match.

As long as there's no slow ass grinding for our caws then all good

that would be cool.

and along the way you can build rivalries/allies, etc.

With RPG/different path elements like Here Comes The Pain

right.

I've always imagined what would an "open world" ( like Skyrim ) wrestling career mode be like.

where your choices actually affect the "world" around you. there can be multiple branching storylines and it would feel like you're actually playing in a "living" WWE universe.

with the power of the next gen systems, there's less of an excuse for that not happening.

Road to Wrestlemania had that to an extend but the execution was off,We were able to roam around backstage before matches but not much was going on

but the new consoles can make that closer to a reality.
