Can't wait for info now damn it lol

can't wait to see the wyatt family in 2k15
their entrance in game will be amazing :D

I want full career mode where your CAW starts as a NXT rookie then works his/her way up to WM.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did this or at least eventually. There's finally a good NXT setup that would make sense for this as opposed to the one off contests.

2K14 has the latest NXT arena set-up and the NXT WHC&Tag titles,WWE has embraced them more by mentioning them on tv during Raw&Smackdown and now will be having NXT live on the wwe network

So I think they may have a bigger part in 2K15

Stuff I'd like:

Make a tag finisher

Make a submission

NXT roster

More options in create a championship, I'd like to make a submissions only title or mixed tag titles. Also I'd like to use more than two high quality logos on a title.

8 players on screen. I want a proper 4 on 4 survivor series match, in addition to triple threat and fatal four way tag matches.

More team entrance animations. Five people on a team but no more than three can enter at a time?

More multi title animations. At least an option to show one guy pimping ten belts like Ultimo Dragon with the J-Crown.

Add championships to community creations.

when do you think we will start hearing more concrete info about this?

when do you think we will start hearing more concrete info about this?

Usually by E3 in June,Rumors and small info come out in may with the first trailer released right before/during or right after E3 then most of the big info along with the roster is released at fan axxess during Summerslam weekend.

2K may do it differently this year though since they are more in control than for 2K14 and that marketing was THQ's way but I think it'll probably very similar in that way

I'm eager to hear/see what they come up with.

hopefully they will really add something new this year, beyond just mere cosmetic improvements for the new systems.

The gameplay improvements were a bit more than cosmetic and as for features superstar head is new to the series and will likely improve in the next game

that's true.

maybe it's because I've played the "Smackdown" games since the very 1st one back on the PS1, but to me, it just feels like something "new" needs to be added to the series.

what it is, I can't really say. Maybe it's more of a feeling. I used to really look forward to the next game in the series. But that feeling hasn't really been grabbing me lately with these games.

maybe it's because I'm older and don't play quite so many games. idk.

and maybe it's because I had so, so much fun playing the "AKI" Nintendo 64 wrestling games. I've never really felt a Smackdown game quite reached that same level of fun I had with those N64 games.

hopefully the jump to the new consoles will allow them to "evolve" the series further. There's certainly less of an excuse in terms of raw computing power.

I've played the franchise since the beginning too and I still get pumped for it and is one of the top games I look forward to each year,I agree it does need a solid huge change though,I still enjoy the gameplay and stuff overall but the problem is that the engine is still the same since the original Smackdown on PS1 but just modified than completely new.

The possible good news though is that THQ confirmed about 2 years ago that they were working on a brand new engine with Yukes for a next-gen wwe game that would be released two years from then..Which would be '15 or now 2K15,Yukes is still developing the game and 2K bought everything in the wwe license from THQ and so there is a strong chance it will be used for this game plus with the help of increased quality support and budget from 2K

oh, I didn't know about that.

hopefully we will see that in 2k15.

Although I am willing to give them a pass on 2k15, since it will be the 1st next gen game.

Wasn't Just Bring It the 1st game on PS2?? If I recall, that was one of the weaker entries.

Some of the top guys from the THQ team like Brian Williams and Corey Ledesma were interviewed last year before 2K14 was released and they both said they were able to admit that top THQ executives didn't care enough about the license or quality anymore and cut the budget off at a certain low amount a few years ago but that 2K truly cares about quality and they have much bigger budget and tech access,Another problem is that the contract for the games states that they must publish a new game yearly which means they only have a few months to work on them.

2k caring about their games and quality/having a larger budget/having more advanced tech and plus having their own team(part of the team from NBA 2K)working with Yukes will do definitely help,Brian Williams and Ledesma also said that 2K14 was mostly a THQ game and so 2K15 will be 2K's first true game in the series

^^ sounds great!!

can't wait to see what they come up with at least.

one thing I am concerned about is that, right now, neither the PS4 or X1 allow you to store/play mp3 files. that would obviously affect the ability to use custom entrance music.

I think MP3 support is supposed to be released sometime this year via console update on both consoles,I have Music Unlimited now so I'm good

yeah. I hope they add that, plus mp4 support, cd playback/ripping, picture viewer, etc.

I'd use my PS4 a lot more if I could truly use it as a media hub. as of now, I'm still holding onto my PS3 for that ( plus games of course ).

but when it comes to actually affecting a game, as in 2k15, that's when I'll start really clamoring for that feature. assuming we don't get it by then.

This game would have to have a drastic overhaul in gameplay and modes in order for me to get this. It'll be very difficult to surpass 2K14's awesome roster.

Things have been quiet, but Justin Roberts is doing voice-over work for the game.

i hope 2k has more influence over the game, been playing nba2k13 lately and i really like how responsive the commentary is to how you're playing the game

The roster cut off date is always the day after WM with a few exceptions for DLC by the Extreme Rules ppv and so Justin Roberts is probably recording entrances now

can't wait to actually see this in action!

but really hoping there's some kind of career mode to tie into NXT.

Justin Gabriel doing some scanning for the game, thus confirming his appearance in the game.

And some rumors about what could be in the game:
Some rumors have circulated around the internet about the first details on WWE 2K15.

According to HipHopGamer, a source has given him some interesting new information about WWE 2K15. Take this news as a grain of salt for now, but the information provided does sound interesting if it’s all true.

First of all, he said the graphics in the game will be of “CGI-Quality”. This is good news considering the graphics in recent WWE games have been pretty poor. He also mentioned blood, bruises and sweat will be very detailed than ever before.

Another tidbit he said about the game is that the WWE Network will be integrated in the game somehow. It’s unknown how it will work, but it sounds pretty cool. Crowd fighting is supposed to make a comeback too as well as backstage fighting too.

The Season mode is apparently going to be overhauled too. It’s expected the Season mode will be modeled in real life in real time. For example if you play WWE 2K15 this Sunday, all of the matches at WrestleMania XXX will be playable for you. There still needs to be more clarification on this since not every wrestler gets animated into the games. He also says if wrestlers get a haircut or something, you can download a patch to update their character model.

WWE 2K15 will be released later this year. 2K Games is expected to make an official announcement on the game in May or June.

HHG1 even say this info should be taken with a grain of salt until it's confirmed by 2K.

I think we can confirm that Mick Foley WON'T be in the game.

I hope we get an extensive list of commentary/announcer names to choose from for our CAWs.

especially the commentary names. in the past few games, we've had a fairly good list of announcer names to choose from, but the commentary names are still stuck with fairly bland options like The Natural, The Superstar, Bruiser, etc.

I want to be able to name my character Raven Storm or something and have both the announcer and commentators call me by that name!
